Yes, agreed. I would add people endlessly pointing at things and using click bait titles to that.
I won’t click on those, that is a real pet peeve.

I don’t think you know what the phrase ‘guilty pleasure’ mean 😮 it means something you enjoy, but is not held in high regard.

The angry Santa was a St. Nicholas. You can tell by the bishop's miter and the burlap sack over his shoulders. Here in Germany (and a few other European countries) he comes on the evening of December 5th/6th (depending on the region) and brings little goodies for the kids - but only if they had been good this year. That's why he looks angry/questioning. In some regions, St. Nicholas just puts sweets🍫🍬🍭 (including a chocolate St. Nicholas) and apples🍎, oranges🍊, nuts🥜 and maybe a small "pre-Christmas present" in the shoes of the kids while they are asleep, in other regions the kids have to recite a poem or sing a little Christmas song to get something. Nicholas usually reads from a golden book if the kids have been good or bad. He is often accompanied by either a nice angel 👼or a mean Krampus 👹 (that's the one you see in Christmas horror movies). Back in the days of poisonous pedagogy, children were scared by their parents saying: "If you do not behave, St. Nicholas will put you in his sack and take you with him." Hence the sack. Today, it's just the vessel to bring the sweets.

Just a comment outside of today's awesome shopping trip... We haven't seen the birdies lately. Back when you did the 'Haul' videos, we saw them often. How are they doing at the new house? What does their room look like? Does anyone else want to see them? Oh, and I kind of miss the haul videos-they were a great source of information! I have been following for many years and have enjoyed the journey!

Amazing the sugar, creamer, and underplate were all there. The "santa" was St Nicholas. He had his bishops miter on his head.

Krampus is not the same as Santa/St. Nicholas. Krampus is a devilish, mean creature accompanying St. Nicholas to scare children.

Just FYI, 2:19 into your video you picked up what you thought was carnival glass. Behind it was a Tracy Porter hand painted vase. Yes they are modern but sell fairly well for me in the bright colors. Just wanted you to know 😊
Those are a dime a dozen, I find one every time I go sourcing. Some are pretty and some not so much.

So that dish isn’t Lalique since it’s not marked. I went to black swan and they had that same dish marked Lalique that I bought and the same one with no mark but it had a sticker that it was Czech.

I'm a little baffled. The mice look like Fitz and Floyd Charmingtails. Were they bought by Silvestri? I have a huge collection of Charmingtails.
Ok, I just answered my own question.
Charming Tails were created by artist Dean Griff. Dean was born in 1960 and spent his childhood on the family farm in New York. He began drawing animals at an early age and eventually decided to study art. In the early 1990s he began creating a line of ornaments for Silvestri called the Woodland Collection. Silvestri was acquired by Fitz & Floyd in 1993 and the Woodland Collection was renamed Charming Tails. In 2009 Enesco bought the Charming Tails line, which is still in production as of 2018.
