@@kalikaiz So there weren't as many people as there usually are (probably due to Halloween stuff) so there were only 3 rounds instead of 4 and I got a buy for the last round. First round was against affinity with both losses being very close. I probably would have won game 2 if I just ran it back and didn't try to be cute with the sideboarding. Game 2 was against Izzet Terror and that felt really bad especially after my opponent sideboarded in Breath Weapon. Getting my card draw countered didn't help either.
love this deck! i still think its missing a little something something but it will become a legit nasty deck at some point in the near future for sure!
@@kalikaiz For the instance of weather the storm giving too much life I would also think about sprout swarm. Either in the sideboard or in the main. Then to counter Trespasser's curse you could sideboard ray of revelation. All in all I am even thinking about Prismatic strands in the side for even more Naya colored interaction that counteracts Krak Clan and breath weapon. i know at this point it sounds like a bit too much but at least 2 of these cards could be considered.
If this list plays basic lands anyway, one vines could probably be just a Whiteout. It would still give you 4-5 cards to discard. This would save some mana, at the cost of not thinning the deck.
I just discovered the synergy between snake umbra and pingers like guttersnipe. Wouldnt that be a sick fit? If it resolves on the guttersnipe its combo time for sure 😎
Looks pretty sweet! Vine storm is a fine replacement for prophet for controlling denisity. I still think faithless looting would be great here with all the lands you have and as a good discard target itself, if you're looking to add more card draw. It's been pretty sweet in my build, although the builds are doing diffferent things.
@kalikaiz not better than rev imo, it's a good discard target and glimpse mill. It also woud work really well with vine, but it'd only be a 1 or 2 of. The pretty full art borderless is only 2 tix and change now, probably a good speculative investment.
@@kalikaiz You had me thinking that vines spiked in price lol. I meant for tix, like I bought 10x of the unfinity island when it came out for less than a tick and then sold when it hit 5 tx.
I remember the old Sprouting Vines lists used to play Tolarian Winds to cash in all those lands for spells, do you think that's something this list could utilize? The lands being discard fodder for the draw spells is sweet tho. Love the list.
That game one last rites was insane. Got me completely re thinking the card. I can’t think of another combo that can take advantage of that situation as well but my minds racing. The plan was so hardcore, set up infinitely big guy, set the opponent to top decking, swing. Like, the out to this set up properly performed is top deck cast down and you can just also have protection in the list. Gonna go build a bad list real quick…

@@giancarloaulicino1017 I haven't but I think if I've gotten that far I am probably already winning. I put a duress sideboard so maybe that could be rites

I found that there weren't enough slots to support Mana and card draw. Once you start moving, the draw spells become rituals. I tried just rite of flame and it was faster at getting going but a lot worse during the combo turn at keeping going. At that point I decided to go for song here
