For anyone else not familiar with object builder, at 12:23 when Spurgle "recalculates the normals", select "Faces" at the top taskbar, and select "Recalculate Normals", or the button is "F5".
Then you'll need to learn how to bake the textures out with blender or substance painter. It's part of the process when creating your own models and is covered hundreds of times in 3d modelling tutorials.
@@Spurgle unwrap the uv then use that image as the base color correct ?. ive followed hundreds of videos and i can only get stuff working that pre includes texture files .not trying to be one of those test once and give up guys ive been through your videos and many other videos over and over trying different things for days . id really love to get in contact and get some help if you dont mind .
Yeah, im sure there are some types of .fbx which have embedded textures/shader, but if you were to open it in blender you could save each texture individually and reexport the mesh file. Should take less than 5 minutes.

Thanks I am not famillar with it at all. Also my notepad++ does not convert my txt into a notepad++ document. Any ideas ??
