As a person with dry skin, I always find that if I pack alot of moisture into my skincare, I can get away with more powder products (I love powder because it doesn't feel heavy on my face)
It isn't heavy or drying because it is a finishing powder not a setting powder it is a beautiful powder. However for my oily skin I have to use a setting powder for oil control to last throughout my work shift.
@@louise3953 I love the huda beauty powder but I've never tried Laura mercier and that is supposed to be good. Also Maybelline fit me loose powder is very good and a lot cheaper
Best powder!!!!! I am picky with my powders and I have textured skin and trust me it looks better! I would buy the mini to try it first but they work!😊
Cream bases are lighter & looks more natural than liquid, actually best for dry skin. Powder bases aren't suitable for oily skin & worst for dry skin, it can only work for normal skin.
so ive been using powder after my foundation, then using setting spray, but after the setting spray my face looks shiny again. is there a powder that won't come off that you know of or can I put setting spray on first then powder?
try setting spray then powder. i do it like that sometimes bc like you said the spray makes your face look shiny which is kinda counterproductive if you’re using a powder to minimize shine.
It doesn’t last on oily skins though. Your skin will be beautiful for two minutes and then you will look like a frying pan again, go for Huda beauty, works much better for oily skin
I love powders but use them sparingly because they accentuate any dry patches. I don’t see how people can use layers of powders everyday I use to set my concealer and for shine control as needed.
I started to heavily moisturize my skin and use a moisturizing primer and then use liquid products and then I said with just a little bit of a powder, and works for me no dry patches. have such bad dry patches, you may want to look into your Skin routine or Clean your faucet and try and figure out how to reduce the texture of them
Yeah it doesn't. It's just a finishing powder vs a setting powder which will help u keep u from getting oily. It is a beautiful powder for under the eyes though vs using a setting powder which sometimes can make ur undereyes looking dry or heavy..atleast in my case
this is just a pressed setting powder. you just bought setting powder in another form. you convinced yourself it was different that what you already have when you couldve just gotten your setting puff and gotten this same reaction
consumerism is fucking vile, lets stop acting like these things are needs and revolutionary when they are just things marketed in a different way to make you spend more
its the charlotte tilburry airbrush powder! 💗 sorry i posted it as a description but i guess many people didnt see :)

do you have a setting powder you'd recommend? I'm the same way, def can't use a finishing powder as a setting powder lol

What’s the difference in use between setting and finishing powder ? I thought both were for blurring ?
@@lyz.i Apparently, the setting powder lasts throughout the day. The finishing one is just for light retouches. I would just buy the setting one tho

How long does it keep your skin from shining?

First tap it on the skin to deposit the product on your skin then buff. If you start buffing first, it won’t look even.
