The guy riding shotgun is Mitsuo Iwata, the voice actor of Itsuki. While the guy with the massive sunglasses is Shinichiro Miki, the voice actor of Takumi. (Miki is a car enthusiast, btw. He owns an 86 and can actually drift a bit, though he says he isn't good at it yet.)
DeltaSilver88 he didnt invent it. he polulatized it as standalone discipline. Rally drivers driftend years before him, just that it wasnt considered thing on its own and good tool to go fast on gravel and mud on corners(drifting is much slower than clean turn on tarmac)
Drifting was used by street racers to clear the narrow and sharp corners when going down a mountain pass although would be inferior to grip on normal tarmac roads
It’s always going to be easier for the driver because they can brace their entire body weight off of the steering wheel, and they know where they’re turning before they turn

@@satolatifi24 If you are not wearing a hans device, without helmet is probably safer. Since otherwise the helmet just adds weight and makes your head snap forwards more. But If you are wearing a hans device, with helmet is probably better.
There’s no cage so it’s not required to wear a helmet. Using helmets in an enclosed car really are only if there’s a roll cage as to not hit your head off a cross bar.
