yeah agree with you there. in honesty I played UT3 very briefly when I was younger so I didn't have the real comparison to draw ans it made me think splitgate. Thanks for the insight :)

Unpopular opinion, but this all feels like distractions. Rather than addressing core issues with the game (like the unfinished mess that is the campaign) they're just dangling low-effort multiplayer gimmicks in front of our faces. This franchise needs alot more than that to survive.
i somewhat agree but also disagree. i think that audience has already left or not interested at this time (which sucks and DOES need love) but at the moment the lifeblood of the game is the ranked grinders who wont quit so adding more toys like this is a way to freshen up the META and keep them playing.

100% agree more cosmetic rewards are needed for longevity not just from pass and shop.
