- In this video I drive my 1979 C3 Corvette throughout the month of December. I use this corvette as my 'daily' driver/commuter. In the end we come up with a list of things to address in the new year.

I’m saving for a c3 man. Not listening to the bad press. This video gives me inspiration
Best of luck! Once you get one, don’t get too worked up on making it look nice. Just get it going and keep it going!
They're quirky cars to daily, but they're simple to work on and a lot of fun. Aside from rainy and snowy days, I drive mine all the time.
@@fatboysgarage7984 excellent to hear!
ive seen one of these on the road the other day its nice asf catches the eye
C3’s are definitely eye catchers and neck breakers!
What side exhaust inserts are you running? I have Classic Chambered 2 1/2" louvered cores on my C2 and they are obnoxiously loud. In the video yours seem quiet enough to hold a conversation while driving.
I have no idea what inserts they are. I bought the side pipes used and they had been sitting for over 20 years. They are definitely very mild, you can easily hold a conversation. I believe they are the 2nd quietest option available. The quietest option available has a noticeable restriction in it, and I didn’t see that in these. Also, very likely the inserts are hooker brand, as the pipes are hookers.
Thanks for the cold start!
What tire company did you get your Coopers from?
Discount Tire
@@bluesxt thankx
What year is that spitfire?
1978
@@bluesxt nice I've got a 1975 that's gonna get the 355 out of my Corvette, when I LS swap it.
Super worthwhile project is the conversion to electric motors for the headlights.
The aftermarket kits are about $300-$400
Or, search the forums for the how to on using Ford Probe or Miata motors.
I did this on my '68 and loved the results.
I like the vacuum headlights! I replaced the actuator seals a while back and ever since my headlights have been working just fine.
First second I thought you said electric swap the engine and turn it into an electric car lol
