Tmmy did not do the lead on QOS, Dennis did. No one in rock and roll has a more pure voice than Dennis. If you cannot listen to ANY Styx tune and not immediately know who is doing the lead, you aint no Styx fan . In 1997 (?)Dennis came down with an ailment that effected the skin under hot lights. He asked the band to slow up until he could heal, but the band went on without him, saying the wanted to strike while the iron was hot and continued touring without him.
I wouldn't have a problem with this performance at all, if it was Dennis DeYoung singing like pure and simple ought to be!! This guys okay, buy he ain't no Dennis....
@brade85 Wow Tommy Shaw actually sang this song, so what good would Dennis do!! Get your shit together!! I seen STYX Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight tour back in the day, and the band was great!!
My fav styx song, good to see them doing it live again, its been a while!!
That was excellent! Thank you!!!
Gonna see 'em tomorrow in Chattanooga. Show looks like it kicked ass.
Chuck wasn't in Albany, NY either, but he was in Merrillville, IN. I love seeing Chuck!
Yes, Chuck was at this show and the previous 3. Hopefully he is at all of these dates of this special tour.
My lord I had to keep myself from squealing so much through this!! >u< I am such a Lawrence fantard : D he sings this song so well~~~
One of my favorite songs ever. The real meaning is up to the person who hears it to figure it out. ( hint- Gambling)
This isn't so bad, definitely better sound than on the Waukegan, IL. video. A little more justice for such a great song.
Gowan OWNS!!!!
@jdavis3728 Unfortunately Chuck was not at the Chattanooga show. Oh well, guess I'll go to the Atlanta show, I'm pretty confident he'll be there.

Normally I can't stand Gowan, but he does a good job on QOS.

Besides, isn't Dennis making musicals for broadway or something?
Was Chuck at this show?

Dennis de Young held them back when they wanted to go on tour, I think he has some sort of psychological problem. I guess it's called an ego trip?
Poor Larry's really out of his depth vocally on this
