Really good lesson, when you look at the last big shape it's a great way to get up and down the whole neck without ripping scales. I'd look at adding in 2nds with it
Couldn't help to notice, someone that holds the pick exactly like me. Close those fingers, so they stay out of the way people 😂😂😂 actually, go play how it's comfortable for u. ❤
Can you make this awesome lesson more awesome by making a 3D version? I'd like to see if I can catch that hand you thrust out there so I can give it a handshake for a job well done.
Sorry if an obvious question… do your patches, which have “Helix” in the title, work on Helix Native? Also, what pedal are using to change the pad key in Helix Native? Love your stuff and wanting to make more of my Helix Native world! Thanks
I have the same exact question. How is he changing the drone chords? Is that a feature of Helix? I don’t have a Helix but I do have the HX STOMP. I don’t know of any feature that does this.
He uses his Line6 Helix with his own preset built around the 3 Note Generator effect. Helix has 8 snapshot slots, so he has assigned a chord to each snapshot and each snapshot to a switch on the Helix. I don't know how/if Helix Native has a keyboard/mouse input to change snapshots on the fly, but you can run his preset in Native so long as you set it to Helix hardware emulation. I've done it. You can download the Pad Presets using the Gumroud links in the description.

Awesome video thank you! What is the pedal that changes the chords diatonically? How does it work?
