I have pc with win11 and another with win10 , can i use this with these pc’s and i can use this software to tune duplexers ?
Hey Knarf. I run this on Win10, I haven't tried Win11. You can use these to tune duplexers but be mindful of the devices dynamic range and make sure it's appropriate for the task at hand.
Nice one. My new goto page. You the man.
Thanks Sandy, glad you liked it 👍
interesting vid, I really like nanovna saver. what does it mean when the smith, vswr, and logmag just display nonsense after a sweep? for example, I was testing a dipole I made for airband and I changed the frequency to the 70cm band just for fun and recalibrated. the sweep just produces garbage at higher frequencies. is it because I'm so far out of band that impedance is infinite or something? is it a calibration issue? thanks
Sounds like the antenna isn’t designed for those frequencies 👍
@@TheSmokinApe with some more experimenting, this seems to be an actual glitch between the nanovna and the software (or gross operator error). disconnecting from the pc, I'm able to sweep the same frequency range and plot the result on just the device 🤷♂it is my most used tool, so I should probably just buy a newer one
Great Ape Answers! 73
lol, thanks for watching Jeff 👍

Glad to hear it helped 👍
@@TheSmokinApe That Nano is incredibly capable machine. Can it also be used to check spectral purity on my homebrew stuff? Maybe a similar how-to? Would be awesome, thanks for your vid.s they're helpfull 73 :-)
I use the TinySA for all the purity tests, I have a bunch of videos on that if you are interested. Thanks for watching BTW, glad to hear you like the videos 👍
My NanoVNA4 just arrived. Thank you for your helpful videos, I'll be looking through them, given time. Right now, I want to know what the mini SD card is for, and what size should I buy for my Nano?
You can save; screen shots and traces to it... I am pretty sure I use an 8gb card.
@@TheSmokinApe Thank you. Is it a repository for saved calibrations as well, or are they saved on the device?
@@tommiller1315 I’m not 100% on that one becuse I save most of mine to the PC, sorry man
I found it. "You're the Apeman"🦧😂👍
Thanks for watching Don 👍
