I've been watching South Park for 25 years, and I literally just noticed something. Butters refers to him as Eric while everyone else refers to him as Cartman. That shows what a caring character Butters is. He thinks it's respectful to call him by his first name instead of his last name.

for one thing, all drones look the same so to say "the drone looked like that drone" really doesnt mean jack shit, so unless you can prove it was _that drone_ with something like a serial number, you can be charged with assault if you popped off on the guy putting you in the wrong.

Sorry, I wouldn't just punch someone in the face because they have the same drone as the one I saw spying on my girl, unless it had some defining characteristic that made it stand out. Granted Stotch was believed to be the only one who owns a drone at that time, but it is equally possible that someone bought the same make and model drone as him before she was spied upon. As we saw in the episode even though it was his drone, it wasn't his fault. I would be attacking an innocent man otherwise.
So youd let someone get away with watching your wife change although all evidence points to them? LOL WE know it wasnt Butters dad but Clyde's dad doesnt. If someone broke in your house...you'd send your wife to check?

Of course I would stand up for her if I caught someone, but that isn't what happened here. He caught a drone that anyone could have bought. I understand the need to protect my loved ones but what if it was me who got attacked because someone else had an identical drone? It is the golden rule. Said in many languages, in many faiths. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Well,decking Butters dad based on the fact that they a saw a drone outside their house is pretty dumb,like they said,alotta people own drones. And the drone being where it were,the truth only makes sense to someone who knew they flew it back in time,like us watching. Stotch would be a suspect but its pretty weak evidence.

This episode came out in 2014 when police brutality was starting to make heavy noise; by the time this episode dropped Mike Brown and Eric Gardner had already died
Well one of those cases was completely justified, the other ambiguous. In fact most of the "police brutality" incidents BLM has whined about through the years have been justified once all the facts are known. BLM just doesn't care. Their issue isn't police brutality, it's that law enforcement even exists.
U should watch their documentary '6 Days to Air'. From what I can understand that is how they stay so current with the trends and what-not. Imagine coming up with a concept and story line and putting it together all in 6 days. I think I would die from stress and anxiety.

It was definitely both, since he had to run downstairs, get the drone, run to his house, place it in the garage (quickly and quietly so Mr. Stotch won't hear and Craig's dad won't cut him off) then run upstairs to his bedroom, get into his pajamas, then into bed and play it off like he wasn't awake... All as a 4th grader who probably doesn't have a long stride (Longer legs means more distance per step). And remember, he always gets grounded for small things, so this would be a death penalty if he got caught.
