WELCOME to my valley of flowers vlog,
VALLEY OF FLOWERS trek is one of the famous trekking spot in the worlds. Located at 11000ft above sea level in Gharwal #himalayas . It's a 8Kms trek both ways. Route is narrow,scenic and dangerous.
This trekking has many landslide prone areas in between. To reach this place,you must first reach Ghangaria village (watch my UTTARAKHAND SERIES Playlist ) .
Either trek till ghangaria or take a helicopter for your convenience .
Minimum 6-7 days are required for this trek.
Best time : Mid July to Mid Aug. (This video was shot in Mid Aug)
Level of difficulty : Moderate
Some Fitness required.

It was raining more in evenings and early mornings. Even during the day it was raining sometimes. Hemkund trekking path is good but steep . For Valley of flowers you have to cross waterfalls , do steep trekking etc. roads from Rishikesh to pulna are mostly in good conditions.Expect landslides on the way...

Avoid going in July. Too risky as it's monsoon and there are chances of landslides. It has happened once, in july can happen again. Be safe. Always check weather forecast before going.
