I like that the water goes down the river and off into the distance making a more magical look. Very cool. The 4x4s worked out very well.

If you have ever heard the phrase, "master of his craft" you should know the first time it was ever used was to describe this guy and this table.
The cuts and welds aren’t perfect. it’s engineered as you go, working out the bugs. This is an inspiration and labor of love, that makes for a great end product. Thanks for taking us with you through the build.
Thanks! That was kinda my goal to just work with what I have and problem solve as I go. It’s more entertaining to see the both the ups and downs of a project. Then when you have a good result it’s more satisfying.

That’s a amazing million dollar idea! Absolutely love the look of the table with the waterfall alone is great. But adding the fire too like the icing on the cake!
Sure gives me some ideas, just not sure I have all the knowledge I need to do all that? Sure be fun trying though! But don’t want to mess up with paying for all the materials to build it!
this one was a huge undertaking for me. Im relieved it worked out. There are other options for Fire Water features though even if it cant be a table.

For the table leveling i would use self leveling feet that way you can mve it around use it anywhere and its not restricted to one spot plus when the concrete cracks and shifts due to natural earch movement you wont need to cut the legs agian to fix it.
You might run into a few problems because of needing to run a water line down one leg and a gas line down another, but I'm sure there's some form of levelling feet that could fit the bill.
Also from a drain and fill water aspect the move would be hard to do
Someone finally built it! I've had this idea in my head for 2 years. The problem is, I suck at do it yourself projects!! This is bad ass!!! My real idea was a fire pit waterfall. I just don't know how to engineer it. Would love to see someone do that.

@@travisjantzer Wouldn't it be awesome? Ya know what I always wanted to do and likely won't ... and you obviously have the SKILLzzzz ... I wanted to make a beach table with gentle waves lapping onto the shore ... and ... if you wanted you could control the wave velocity as long as it didn't wash away your "beach." I also thought of making it into kinetic wall art - in frames ....

What an incredible idea.
Buit I still think the water level is still close to the point where it would flow into the "gas compartment" if e.g. a kid would play with the water ab bit. I would have raised the walls of the gas compartment a bit further.
But again: congratulations, amazing built!
