Well, that dude, wanted you to drop a few hundred bucks to use his services!! I had a safe with no key, local lock smith wanted 150$....i baught a set of $19 jigging keys...took me like 30seconds to pop the lock. Found the key in the safe. Ive seen these picks at my picking tool sites.
Those tools are called Lishi picks. They are expensive and only fit one type of lock. The upside is that they let you decode the lock, and make brand new keys for it.
Correction its the lock manufacturers who dont want you to know about these tools Side note. This is perfect for creating new keys. Say you are in law enforcement. You need to perform a search warrant and want immediate access. You can use this tool to know the proper cuts for the key. And comeback later to serve the warrant
