For some reason I can't stop watching this, one of the best musicals ever, awesome movie of love, forgiveness, and redemption to Bring people back from brokenness..
It's freezing cold here, but after dancing along with these lovely songs, jumping and singing along, l am now warm and warm-hearted too. This afternoon the low mood from winter has turned to summer for me. Thank you all! Bless xx

Even an atheist can appreciate a good and clever treatment of music doen well. Great movie, good acting, and a demonstration that sometimes you need to modernize. Old thinking isn't always right.
The message remains the same as it has for two millenia. Love God and show that love by obeying His commands. Love your neighbor. The methods and the style may need to be upgraded once in a while, but it is still the same message.
Doesn’t matter if you believe or not. The lord moves in ways none of you and no one can understand. Someone could watch this movie not believe if a single ounce in god and may find a brief or simple spark into religion. That one little spark is the catalyst for bigger things. There are a lot of fakers out there who pretend to know. I’m not the one to judge but I feel this movie can be an instrument of god a little touch goes a long way.
All this hate and abusive comments, totally unnecessary and inappropriate. Whether you believe in some form of god Christian, Muslim, Hindu , Greek (zeus, Hera) or Norse (odin, Thor) etc does not take away the fact that these are just feel good movies based around a nightclub singer being hidden in a church because she witnessed a murder. And no I am not a believer but it still doesn’t stop me from visiting religious places, churches and mosques and appreciate what has been built and made.

SCIENCE created that. Creating FIRE at will also was science, as was inventing the wheel.
This role was actually meant for Bette Midler. It makes a lot of since. Whoopi did a great job, but I can see how Bette could have done a great job as well.
Whoopi is still alive. Kathy Najimi is still alive. Harvey Keitel is still alive. Maggie freaking Smith is still alive. WHY DO WE NOT HAVE SISTER ACT 3???!
I tend to strongly dislike religious music, but they can sing like Angels, and I love the modern twists on these songs. I remember loving this movie as a kid.
I absolutely love the Sister Act movies, still have my VHS copies and also have the DVD set, thinking of buying the blu-ray format when I get more money. Sister Mary Robert was my favorite and she still is.

This mvoie was fantastic because the acting, the casting and the music was great, also because running nuns has always been funny and tge creators really took this emblematic trope to new levels without being goofy or demeaning
i lve the moment when the teenagers peek in so unsure, and the priest happyily waves them in. this is what you need to get kids to the faith. I don't practice anymore, but i'll be catholic till I die. all it takes is a priest who cares. if you have that, you might lose y our religion, but you'll never lose your faith.
One of my favorite movies when I was a child.... And will be forever in my heart.... When i was in University I joined the theater and we did this and I am so happy cause not in my dreams I will be able to land the role of this....
