I didn't even know there was a TH-cam channel! And that there is a spoon festival :)) You make perfect spoons! I admire! I have a small carpentry workshop. I'm also interested in bushcraft in the garden (I have a son of three years old ...). I've always wanted to make a spoon! Thank you for the lesson! Best wishes from Poland! 👍
Hello, what an interesting video ! I would like to know where I could buy the great white tee shirt with spoons and old tools ? best wishes from France !
@@chrissilverhand1 I suspect it helps to be a minor celebrity with a reputation for being somewhat eccentric :-) I have carved in a public square in town and the only comments I got were "nice toolbox". I'm not sure I'd have the balls to do it on a train, though.
@@JoeWrigley You're probably not too far off the mark with the eccentric celebrity thing. Given the paranoia surrounding knife crime in the UK just now, I think carving in my local woodland is about as public as I'm prepared to go.

Great ideal 👍
CoOL!
In hopes I get an answer or 2... Where does one buy quality carving knives and rasps?
Thanks
Hi Brian - check out Wood Tools and Ben and Lois Orford for knives. For rasps, have a look at Auriou.
Spoon carving on a train?! Can you imagine what would happen if you attempted that in the UK?!

@@JoeWrigley Frankly I'm astonished.
