  • A Tennessee mother is facing murder charges following the drowning death of her 7-year-old daughter. Thirty-three-year-old Brandi Elliott was arrested after the incident at Drakes Creek. According to police reports, Elliott stated that she held her daughter underwater "like a large mouth bass" and repeatedly told her to "be quiet." Elliott reportedly told authorities that she took this action because her daughter had annoyed her during what she described as a "rough day."

It's like he said, poor impulse control and poor emotion regulation going on. She was clearly struggling to regulate her emotions. Emotions last more than a split second in the healthiest of people. Somebody like her, with her problems it usually takes considerably longer for them to start calming down or self soothing.

Who’s this clown who thinks he knows all of everything….
First off, I’d bet this wasn’t just some “impulse,” moment, this little girl was most likely abused prior and or even was close to being un-alived by her mother before. Obviously, the mother was emotionally unstable and immature, but just because there’s pics of them online, doesn’t mean she was a “ doting mother.” Social media is scripted, pics and all….

No excuse will make it okay. I’m a single mom with zero support from their father. They BOTH had kidney disease and each have other health problems such as heart conditions, epilepsy, blood disorders, and pulmonary issues among ADHD and physical and mental delays. It doesn’t get any harder than that. I’ve never even considered wishing they were gone or worse. I could’ve lost mine so I have no empathy for his POS!! 🤬 RIP Piper. 😭
