2:42 when the revolver falls to the ground and still fires a round that’s not a glitch. The hammer pushed forward when hitting the ground which made the gun fire. That’s why you always load 5 instead of 6 when carrying a revolver

Dude I’m fairly new to the game like 2 days and these are like making me wanna start over. I almost knew none of them like Bow takedowns are so cool. What Ubisoft does in their Cinematic trailers R* does them in game. Beautiful game.
In gta and max payne and pretty much any third person shooter has a dodging option. A lot of these "hidden mechanics" videos are just regular ass mechanics that the game spells out for u in the tutorial of first missions...
You forgot one, and it’s the one that everyone forgets because it’s only in the online mode. You can dodge bullets on your horse. I forgot the button for it, but when you do it, your character will slide to the side of your horse to avoid being shot at.
Think lassoing animals for a clean kill still requires stamina so it's best to chase the animal around for a bit until it gets tired and use a tonic to increase your stamina
I beat this when it came out and my son just started playing and a few guys rode up with lanterns on their horses so he just deadeyes all 3 and sets them on fire riding full speed 😮i never knew u could do that, or i forgot cuz theres so much to remember
When the game puts a half paragraph of info about each thing you can do during the game its really easy to miss so much stuff. I wish they would change the way they notify you about things during gameplay cuz u seem to always learn important things during the action and you can miss it.

I wasn't a fan of them tbh, tomahawks were a bit better, felt chunkier to throw, but aiming with both felt really unsatisfying imo. People use the tomahawks for hunting as they one shot certain bigger animals.

This video was *almost* useless, they only thing I didn't know was 36. 10:54 No 2. wasn't exactly a (Max Payne style), Payne shoots while in mid-air, your character Arthur Morgan has to be standing or crouched to shoot
One to add: if you are trying to get a perfect snake skin and struggling, then try shooting birds of prey. They will often be carrying dead snakes that you can then retrieve once they drop to the ground.
I love the sawed off shotty animation when you hit them then remove their head with it. Crazy details . Makes me wonder what sick sadistic stuff people who are nutjobs do inthese games. It allows you to be a terrible person and torture people so i can imagine what some weirdos are doing. I killed an npc after helping him and felt bad about it, then later Arthur tells that one girl "I been killing people who don't need killing" or whatever and I felt even worse 😂😂i can't even go wild and cut loose in a game cuz i feel bad!geeez 😂😂😂😂

3 things I wish was in..gun ready stance like hand on handle,to warn approaching players...to collect water and drink from rivers,and to be able to hire npc Indian bodyguards along your travels out in the wilderness..

Jumping with ur hose is not a hidden mechanic and neither is automatically jumping over obstacles. Horses arent stupid, they do this irl. 26 ill give ya because its not exactly the most realistic thing and its not stated by the game. 27 is a LONG time mechanic or rockstar games. Not a hidden mechanic. 29: not hidden, its explicitly stated IN the game. 30 is actually a very useful addition. I didnt know that. Thanks. 32: this is explicitly stated by the game. 33: explicitly stated at end of first chapter. 34: long time gta mechanic. 35: long time rpg mechanic.

U own them. They are merely equipped from fence or ANY wardrobe after being crafted. 46: this is a good one but technically the game tells u. 47: this is not a hidden mechanic. 49: this is a good one most ppl dont realize and there are more mechanics related to this that u missed. For example engravings and such can help ppl recognize u. 50: this is explained by the game when u get ur first wanted level
I was telling my son that once u get to the point where you need to hold in 3 or 4 buttons to do something you need to figure out a new way of controlling it cuz its too complicated for old people like me😂😂

You have to unlock that ability by levelling up bounty huntering.

My favorite mechanic is the optional first person view along with iron sights. I can’t stand aiming with a fake bloom, I need the sight.
