F&F should be playing to 10K people in arenas. Some of the best music you'll find anywhere. Aside from the flawless harmonies and playing THEY SMILE! They're really nice people! Such a joy.
Sammie and Maggie just doing thier thing here, making magic. If you listen to the best pop groups of the past 50 some years of recorded music you can find some performances that equal what they do in this parking lot. But these girls do this level of music consistently time after time in a parking lot or Tim's basement. That's what amazes me and that's what makes F&F the best cover band ever.
I've been listening to F&F for about a year now but hadn't heard this gem until just now... As others have said, this cover is better than the original! The harmonies are absolutely fantastic! (And I, too, had a heartbreaking moment when I saw Scott.)

We're really good because we know what and who we can cover.....but F&F tackles stuff I wouldn't touch with a twenty foot Hungarian, because we're not THAT good. You guys are...and I echo Bob's statement. Half of your stuff is better than the originals...the rest every bit as good.
Im guessing for what they're probably getting paid they're mostly doing this for the sheer joy of playing and singing together .They obviously knew they had something pretty special here as evidenced by the effort that went into making these high quality recordings. So thankful they took the time to share them with those of us lucky enough to find these videos,I'll never tire of listening to them!

All of the board channels get recorded to a DAW and saved on a hard drive. Tim later cleans them up slightly to join back up with the video. So it is a live/studio recording.

The band that FB made. Upper Eschelon talent, thanks to social media we get to listen to them. Started for me with Suite Judy Blue Eyes. When artists can pull that off live, they are the best of the best. Sum of the whole greater than the parts. I told everyone I knew to listen, and many others must have done likewise. They have earned the accolades; the concert recording sales and views will go bonkers. Can hardly wait! It'll be so much fun to see them back together in person.

Foxes and Fossils... best cover band ever and this is a song I can relate to ... when I was a younger man ( well mid teens into my early 20's ) ... Love how both girls look at Tim as they sing "cheap whiskey midnight", that you can hear if you listen, and Tim sings "cheap whiskey highway", and yet it just flows so smoothly and is just so amazing!! This is a band that should be on a big stage playing in front of thousands of people!!

Today is Aug 21 2021. This was recorded 10 years ago tonight. At this writing, I believe the most recently recorded video is "My Church", featuring the "Foxycaster" guitar, created in Summer 2021. Compare them here to them in that one. All of them, including Toby, here doing a fantastic solo, and putting that Foxycaster through its paces there.
How good are they??? In my humble opinion---The best I have ever heard. I just started following them in January 2020, and man, did I miss out. I have seen every video many, many times over, oh yes, and over and over again.

I have a huge complaint with the cd I purchased. I can't stop listening and it seems as soon as I start the cd within a blur the last song ends. I could listen to your band all day long. The harmonies on the Sara Evans song 'Why Should I Care: is awesome. I never knew a band that could play country, rock, pop, folk, etc the way your band does it. I don't know what your future plans are but would love to see you on TV. Your lead guitarist can make his guitar sound like a pedal steel; reminds me of the great Clarence White when he was with the Byrds.
