One day it's now or never
To stay at home
Sometime the dreams are better
One thing you hold
Believe that all this distance
Keeps me alone
What (??) the last reaction
I'll never know
I'll never know
I'll never know
Believe me
All I said to you
Believe me
All I did for you
All I did for you
All the time it takes to come through
And live in doubt
Sometimes they keep you waiting
For a look around
I've got a friend in here somewhere
Who can't get me out
Believe me
All I said to you
Believe me
All I did for you
All I did for you
All I did for you
All I did for you
This song doesnt get enough play. You can really hear the joy division in this track.
Exactly
Great drumming, love the driving bass line too. Brilliant song - should be far better known than it actually is.
Morris is a monster of drums!!!! awesome...such a energy
Steven Morris, a drum-manchine with heart
i love how the camera focuses on stephen almost the entire time… he is the highlight of this song after all
At this stage Barney had no idea what his 'natural' vocal style would be, which was sorted out by the time of recording PC&L. If he based his style on anyone at this point, I would say Josef K's Paul Haig. An interesting role model!
Hooky playing a mean lead guitar! And Gillian's Arp Quadra as the bass-line. Just shows how much they fooled around with the line-up to get the sound in their heads.
I would give my bass playing hand to take a time machine back to this.
Steven Morris IS a drum machine!
No words. This is first Synthie-Sound.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Steven Morris, the lean mean drumming machine!
I love Barney's skeletal guitar sound during this era.
incredible rhythm section..Barney rabbit in headlights
Stephen morris looks like he's dying! Amazing song, Movement is a perfect medium to power corruption and lies and closer.
1981 ..........Going to U of M in Missoula, Montana............I always played this at the many parties.
Never seen this before, it's great...
to me this is house music... New Order just didnt know it yet.. fuck they were so far ahead of their time.. this is amazing!
this is early house, it can be considered Disco
Thanks for upload, man!
E de mais so faltou ian Curtis 👍
@ t 1:18 he reminds me of ian . . . . scared the shit out of me i thought it was
RIP IAN
Barney definitely mimicking Ian here, sounds weird
Stephen just destroying the drums.....sooo good.
Immense.
i love bernard for that he cant sing,
@psssyche
it was shot at granada studios
Well well, I've never seen that clip before...
Probably one of the best videos of that special period of the band. Have you seen joesoap's version of Chosen Time from the riverside studios - that's great too.
Thanks
Guaaaaaaaaaau!!!
Long live to The New Order.
top high-hat!
As Hooky would say, "******g hell!" Just when you think there are no more undiscovered bootlegs to come out, first two previously unheard JD concert audios are unearthed (last year), then the 1981 Glastonbury stuff appears on TH-cam, and now this TV appearance in HQ! (Actually this was uploaded first, but..) There's only ever been a very low-qual audio of this show widely available, until now. Where did you find it? Good stuff, I prefer NO in this early phase of their development.
I loved them when they were like this. Pity it didn't last.
Anyone know where this was shot?
MORNING SEEMS STRANGE ALMOST OUT OF PLAAAACCCC......wait nor that synth isn't right now the spooky church bells guitar
It sounds like everything is little off beat for most of it. However, I could imagine this song is extremely hard to do live.
hear the drummer get WICKED
32 nd anniversary of ian Curtis's death
start sounds like JDs these days
