Thanks a lot for your videos on this. Don't know why the dislikes. The videos you made helped me changed the drive belt on my 1046. I had an impact wrench which made it a lot easier getting the tough bolts or nuts loose, especially under the battery in the back. My impact wrench couldn't fit in the tight spot so I had to get a 10" extension bar to reach down in there. It came right off after a few seconds without hassle.
I have the 42 inch and bought a 46 inch this year and sad they got rid of the glove compartment I have over 3 acres so 2 mowers is better . I had a troybuilt but only 2 deck wheels are crappy on a hill front yard with zosia grass , did you notice your one deck pully is crooked like it is loose
What you call squirrely I called something else. Thanks. I should probably put back that pan/ cover above the deck belt with the pulley attached then remove the battery and try to get the belt back on. I'm in the South and it's like 95° with 150 degrees of humidity.
I hope you show how to remove that clutch in part 2. I couldn't get it off myself. I put the strength of Thor and Elvis together and could not get that clutch off there was no budging it

90% of the time the drive belt is shredded, is because one or more of the idler pulleys is froze up, and needs replaced.
