      A person after my own heart! I've done the 3-ring binder thing myself for my playing card study and found it very helpful. And the beauty is that you'll have a place to record your own interpretations that come from working with the cards on a regular basis (those meanings that will be unique to you).
      Thanks for tuning in and watching the series; I'm delighted you're loving it!

    Hello James, Question: I'm new to learning Cartomancy and I understand the Ace represents beginnings and/or a start. I was curious why the Aces as a whole to you wouldn't represent or make you think or resonate with its most common reference to me which are: an Ace, someone on top of his game, Mastery one who has mastered something, He had an Ace up his sleeve, etc. For example, " She Aced all her courses and received all A's!" Which in the sentence not only represented mastery, but also the top grade one could receive. Was just wondering...because I watched a video where someone explained it that way and thats how I saw it too but I see it more explained as you did and wondering then why the reference of it in such high regards as "top" in daily speaking terms. Maybe you can help me, would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your videos on your perspective.

      Hello! Thanks so much for watching the video, and for the great question!
      I would say, in all honesty, those expressions never occurred to me, until I saw them in your comment. This is one of those moments where I'm thinking, "Why didn't I come up with that?" 🤔 But those are expressions I don't use (often), so they didn't readily come to mind.
      I will point this out, since you've shared you're new to cartomancy: You stated, "...its most common reference to me...." What you've done there is just personalized the Aces for yourself, which is what I'm encouraging viewers of the series to do (thinking about what the cards mean to them and personalizing them). So bravo to you! 👏👏👏

      @@JamesHimmCoach33 Thank you very much, I can't take all the credit as I mentioned I am new and heard it explained that way in a Cartomancy vid and it resonated with me as I am a lover of the card game Spades as so thus love to see Aces in my hand because of their ability to top any other card in that suit including Kings. But I like your perception as well..this is really exciting for me as I find the numerology options here more inviting then Tarot as a place to start so I went a purchased a deck to learn it to couple my natural divination with, thanks for your quick and honest response.💕

      @JamesHimmCoach33  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @nnaturalheaven I love hearing how excited you are! And your explanation furthers my point: You have a personal connection to the Aces through the game of Spades. I've never played any card games other than "War" and "21" (and I'm not even sure if I'm right on the name "21"). It's touches and nuances like that you'll bring to your study and practice of the cards that will be unique to you. ♠️♦️♣️♥️

      @@JamesHimmCoach33 Well, you did say the phrase "one is the lonliest number" came from a pop song. Not sure how old you are, but "One" was just all the hell over the radio when I was a kid. And... I think the two of spades might fit with the "two can be as bad as one" bit. James, I'm requesting that you would start a tutorial on reading the Spanish playing cards, "Baraja Español" which are similar to Tarot cards but use only 48 cards and no major arcana. These are traditional among Spanish speaking people. Thank You.

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Jose, thanks for watching the video and for the suggestion. It just so happens that I have some Baraja Española decks in my collection (I bought my first, and then were gifted some), so I'm receiving the request as a "sign" of sorts to work with the system more right now. I'm not that "fluent" with the system, so I want to be sure I honor it and do right by it should I make any videos about it.
      I will consult the Baraja Española to see what the cards suggest about this. Thank you again for the suggestion.

      Thank You, James, for seeing my request for video on Baraja Espsñol. As far as I know, there are no videos out in TH-cam land on this system of cartomancy and it would be a welcome. Thank You, again,

    curiosu what are your elemental correspondences for each suit- (curious)

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question, because different cartomancers have different correspondences...
      These are mine: Clubs = fire; Hearts = water; Spades = air; Diamonds = earth. I mention this in the previous installment of the series (intro).
      In that installment, I also encourage people to consider their own correspondences, because mine might not resonate with everyone (which is totally okay; they work for me). ;-)

    • @Cryptonomics7
      @Cryptonomics7 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JamesHimmCoach33 i lean more to diamonds= fire , clubs= air, spades= earth, and hearts= water ...I have heard of the correspondence you just mentioned though to and I had issues with it when aligning the seasons and other things to it.

      @JamesHimmCoach33  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Cryptonomics I've also heard the correspondences you use mentioned by other cartomancers, and the reasons for them do make sense. I think it's really important the correspondences make sense to the individual, especially if that person does work a lot with elemental dignities.

    What is Ace of Clubs followed by 2 of Hearts? In a Love Reading

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As you know by watching the video, all Aces can indicate the beginning or start of a situation. Ace of Clubs would be the beginning or start of an endeavor, something with the potential to progress. 2 of Hearts is the love card, so that is nice to see.
      There's an Ace followed by a 2, which shows some progression. Both numbers on the low end suggest a situation still in its beginning stages. This could be the start of a platonic relationship, and then the parties involved realize they feel the same way romantically.
      Without knowing the specifics of the situation or question (you just gave the topic/theme), that's what I'd offer at this moment. Hope that helps.

    Hi. You don't cover the negative or shadow side of each card?

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Thanks so much for watching the video.
      In the systems I learned from (and further developed on my own), it's the suit of Spades that is considered most challenging, and will affect other cards in close proximity. Some cards are generally positive, and some not so much. So I personally don't have a negative or shadow side for each card.
      I'm sure there's a method or system out there that does, I'm just not familiar with it.

    If Ace of Spades is the death card what is 4 of spades ?

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching the video, Sana.
      For me, 4 of Spades is the “sick bed” card, suggesting illness. Basically it can indicate limitation, restriction, and confinement.
      So, going with the idea that Ace of Spades could mean death, Ace of Spades + 4 of Spades = death by illness; 4 of Spades + Ace of Spades = illness that leads to death.
      Personally, though, the death aspect of Ace of Spades is one I don’t immediately go to. I tend to see a decision that needs to be made first.
      Hope that helps. ♠️
