I have a 2018 Classic 500 (Euro 4) riding in Portugal. I continue in love with it after 18000km. I'ts a very pleasurable ride in any circumstances excepting in high revs of the engine. Not for high speed highways. No relevant mechanical issues till now. As someone suggested here in comments I would like to hear something about Meteor 350, compared with Classic 500 as reference.
well how do i put it the classic is infact a classic motorcycle , that is very basic uce engine very raw , and the meteor with the gen 2 uce is refined its more filtered out , i mean its down on power u can clock higher speeds because of the refinement

Hey, I'm about to ride from whole of Asia, and possibly over to India, Nepal and back. I'm aware of touring bikes, and good modern dirt bike would do a better job.... but better isn't always better. I've had several bikes in the past, I plan to buy one next week!! You reckon this classic 500 would do the job? Anything you'd recommend, cross tires perhaps? Fully synthetic oil? New plug, filters... ?? Cheers :-)
Upto bs3 bike had qualities ...from bs4 even re turned into toy

If you want power than buy the Classic 500 and if you can ride a calm and slower motorcycle than go for the classic 350 … the only prblm with the classic 500 is that the fuel pump and fuel injector can fail

Wow that bike is a tractor. it pulls everywhere though out the RPM range.
the handlebars seem awfully narrow to me. I was curious with a few modifications could it be used for some light off-road use. they are probably a little difficult to find but I think think it would be worth looking into.
I have a TB500. I keep it around 80_90 It always gives 35-38 on highways and in city 32-35.
The best part is I can track the Engine RPM and shift properly

It’s always better and suggestible to ride your bike , with the company given exhaust at least for first six months after purchase. Afte that you can change what even your wish for

Yes it is having self start ... factory fitted one ... and the exhaust is a free flow punjabi dholki ... the perfrmnce from the 500cc motor is quite good ... lowend and midrange is really strong ... it is expensive to maintain ... and the avg fuel economy is between 20 to 25kmpl ... if you are planning to buy it second hand check for engine missing and jerks while accelerating in which case the fuel injector should be checked

There are no engine problems ... just needs timely servicing ... this bike in this video is used daily still no engine issues ... prfrmnce wise ... the free flow silencer feels good ... sounds good ... no such issues other than the fact that its illegal now

I unfortunately don’t live in India so I can’t get one easily that’s why I need to know which one yours got and where to get one.
This one is a punjabi dholki exhaust or the shot bottle exhaust ... basically a free flow exhaust for the RE Classic ... can buy it from amazon or ebay

Yes … the classic 500 was already a rare motorcycle when it was on sale … and now when it’s discontinued it has become a LEGEND . Most of the parts are similar to classic 350 and engine parts are readily available 👌🏼

Not possible sir ... the best option is to find a used one ... zyadatr classic 500 log km chlate h to achhi condition m miljaegi apko bike price 1.50 lacs to 2 lacs for a good one ... discontinue hone ki wajah se price bdhh gya h ... but it will be a great buy

I have Classic 500 stealth black ( not now it's shining cuz I clean it too much 😂 ) 2018 non abs version 👍 with long bottle punjabi silencer ! I use it long rides 🤗 and I also have 1994 model heavy crank cast iron bullet I use that for pleasure local rides 🤗 what can I say ? 😂 SLOW AND STEADY❤️ That's the word 😂❤️

don't joke bro it goes only 120kmph and its comfortable cruising speed is 80kmph after that it vibrates like hell
Obviously it vibrates but the top speed is actually 130 kmph ... and can cruise at 90 or 110 kmph ... but its a single cylinder and that too a RE it will start vibrating the moment you start it ... thats why i didnt mention any thing about the vibrations .
