Frank is one of the best for sure. You might like some of his songs from Live at the Agora concert.Strange Dreams,The Answer, and It's Begun To Rain are all great. Thanks John!
Frank is so under appreicated and to many unknown but when you have Joe Bonamassa and Steve Vai say he inspired them to learn to play and Johnny Winter praising Frank also then you have to know guitarists have utmost respect for him
Frank is incredible. I saw him perform in Beaumont, Tx in the late 70s. He blew the place away. Amazing talent. One of the most underrated guitarists ever.
Yes ! You know what I think of Frank Marino. I just wish you could have see him. I saw him destoy a big festival concert that included AC/DC , Aerosmith and Ted Nugent. Frank should have been the headliner !
Recently discovered your reactions, and enjoying them. I went w/a friend to see “Frank Moreno and Mahogany Rush at The Swing Auditorium (RIP) in San Bernardino, CA. I was a Senior in High School, 1979. My friend got his a** kicked by a security guy. Unfortunately, for my friend, he deserved every punch he took, as he instigated the entire event by snatching the security guards hat off his head and tossing it into the crowd behind him. He did manage to get away though and wasn’t ejected from the venue. Amazing Guitarist and Show.
Out on another level ; such control , articulated jazz ! What ! Looks like EVH copied the light string patting ...our mist excellent Canuk player of Montreal
Love this track! I still play it once in a while. Frank was a huge influence on my in my early days and still listen to him. Say a prayer for him. He needs it!
The version from the 1979 Bromont, Canada concert is so much better imo. That whole concert is amazing. The quality of the recordings on TH-cam are crap, but well worth a look/listen.

Amazing Guitarist and Show.
He is truly a master of his craft. Amongst his peers, he is in the top percentile. I admire and miss witnessing his excellence in a live setting.
Thanks for the upload and reaction. Frank is amazing, backed by a fabulous band. He should be recognized as one of the greatest guitarists ever.

When it comes to hair, I'll take your word...
I saw Mahogany Rush in san Bernardino in 79, Frank shredded it up!!!
It’s a Slim Harpo song from somewhere in the 50’s, but I’m more familiar with the Muddy Waters
And yet he was left off of the Rolling Stone Magazine’s top 250 best guitarists. What a travesty.
