If you're referring to cash as a payment method for QR code ordering, no, that's unfortunately not possible. You can of course accept cash on the POS though.
Hi @cantiflas777. Most carriers like DoorDash, UberEats, etc charge a % based commission, but for doing your own delivery, Square just charges I believe a flat $1.50 per order. Let me know if you have any more questions!
You would simply add both items in Square, with different fulfillment options of course, then make those items available for online ordering. A customer would only be able to order the items at the same time if they're using the same fulfillment method for both (most likely pickup or local delivery for a drink and a book). Feel free to contact us on our website www.appaloosa.tech/contact for more info.
@@appaloosatech thanks for replying. Our customers currently use tap table where they scan a qr code and the order comes through. A but like Nando’s where u scan then enter your table number. So I’m guessing you can send the kitchen order to the kitchen ipad and the book order to would be sent to retail department ipad.
@@TazBo-wd2ig yes, you could set it up to send certain categories (books) to the retail department and other categories (drinks) to the kitchen. I believe that’s the best way to set it up.
Thanks for your video. Please do more tutorials for Square.
Will do!
Hi there, Can you do a demo showing the ticket printing if the KDS is not being used? Thank you.
Will do, we'll let you know once we do and how to find it.
Hey, I created a printed ticket setup video. Here it is: th-cam.com/video/t55YIZ5cQss/w-d-xo.html
Was thinking of joining the restaurant business but after watching this I decided to become a rocket scientist instead. That would be less confusing
It’s very confusing, I know! That’s the only reason we’re in business, and we’re happy to help!
How are you using this on an iPad? The square kds app is only on android play store
It was previously available on the Apple App Store, but you're right, it's not there anymore.
Can you have a option for them to checkout paying cash ?

Hi! I saw a video that says: Delivery is commission free, is that true?
I'm very interested.

@@appaloosatech ok , thank you. 😊
I have a bookstore that sells drinks and books, how would somebody order a book and a drink?
