I like how his dad tellin him how bad people are, and how they all gonna be hanging off you. And as the movie goes on you literally see what he was talking about taking place.

She had 2 of 3 options. 1:accept the lifestyle and hope for the best (he wises up, dont make it a public example) or worst (she cuts out after realizing he wont change or it just dont work), 2: don't accept it and move on early on so it's about what's really best for her and not what's convenient for her. She chose the toxic options: do her and ride it till it crashes.
Except the real Ray Allen has borderline OCD and doesn't act thuggish. Hes a nice guy but I heard he can be a real pain to be around because he has rituals he sticks too. He didn't like it when guys switched seats on the plane, so he's kind of superstitious.
Love the music in this scene. Jesus definitely made the right move in getting out this relationship. Lala didn't love him. She loved his status as a potential #1 pick.

Crazy part about this is she was right. He was eventually gonna leave her behind and be the high school girlfriend. He proved that by how he acted on the college visits, she just had the sense to try to benefit while she could. Especially being that she tried to trap him. Not saying it was right, but she was right in what she thought
In the next part of this scene he states how he was going to make sure she was taken care of and how they were going to be together forever and he said that wasn't hard for him. She just didn't believe it. Yea he cheated like a lot of athletes may, but doesn't mean that all of them don't stay with they day 1 woman because she's one of a kind.
