So ure down to be spendin 300 on a board plus another 200 on gear and a taxi to get up and down a hill lol just be prepared this may look easy but it really isnt cuase if u just send it u could get hurt so u need about 3 months on highspeed practice, if u put effort in ule get there
I'm working my way to doing downhill. Got my board and spot with little bunny slopes to gain some confidence. If you want to bad enough you'll make it happen.

Vanessa Hunter of course look up max whippet man and remember practice squats and front foot placement because when it comes down to it stability come from foot and weight placement(of which should be 90 percent front foot). study what the pros like maxwhipperman do this and apply what you learn. I promise you you'll see a serious change

Usually it is filmed with a car they atach a camera on the hood and the car follows them
If anyone here suffers from speed wobble you should try just cruising and if already did that just practice your slides its for me the easiest way to get rid of it
Ya ive been cruising for about a year now and the highest speed ive gone is about 27 or 28. I want to start bombing hills. I have a good sector nine board and am ordering the slide gloves today. I plan on learning to slide a bit and then start on some easy-ish hills and sliding.

There no real way to stop quickly. At ~80km/h, and depending of your wheels, a slide needs a least 3-4 sec to stop you. In longboard, security is all about preventing...
You slide (drift your board) like they're doing the video.
I mean, at high speeds you won't stop super fast even with grippy wheels but the same principle applies to cars or any vehicle/transportation device.

Andersen Kilgore a pebble wouldn't stop a longboard. If this was the case then all of these people would be severely injured or dead, and the sport would be considered a lot more dangerous than it is now.
