You dont need any kind of special software for this. in paint 3d (windows 10) you can seperate the cube as a seperate layer with 2 klicks.
Drag the picture in there, click on the magic wand symbol, drag the boundaries to the object, of in the photo you want to seperate, choose "add" and and click ok.
You end up with two layers. one with the object, one with the backgound. the background gets filled in very well

Ok so I'm going a bit crazy. I use a Windows version of PowerPoint. I notice that on the Mac version, all advanced animation options (effect options, timing, triggers) appear underneath the animation pane's list of current animations. On Windows, I have to /right click > select effect options/ to see this. It's a minor thing, but when animating many elements, it adds LOTS of extra clicks. I would LOVE to be able to have all advanced options viewable like yours, right in the animation pane. Is this possible on the Windows version????
