You got to do more of these video essays. Super entertaining. Also I think bl2 has the best start IMO. All the farms and side missions that are super easy and quick to do, plenty of accessible farms, and the early guns are also still pretty good to use.
Gotta add something (with "well actualy" energy). The revive tutorials are there. BL2 just put it after Sanctuary... Into Frostburn Canyon along with first Class mod. In BL3 it's still in first Area, you revive Claptrap after turning of that huge ass magnet. Right before the first "talk to Lilith" :(
Ima hit you right back with an "um actually" of my own. I didn't mention frostburn Canyon as that's way off of the tutorial segment and is completly redundant as a "tutorial" cause your party members would've gone into ffyl by that point. But you right about claptrap tho... BUT UH ACTUALLY ITS SPEAK TO LILLITH NOT TALK TO LILITH so L + ratio + purple yoshi + thanks for the comment
Thanks! I didn't talk about reviving Lilith in bl2 as it wasn't in the tutorial segment and by the time your in frostburn you'd know how to revive a team mate just by playing
TPS is my fav because of Jack, also LOVE low gravity and the O2 aspect and butt slam, but i absolutely love the fresh, real, gritty yet mellow feel of BL1 (not to mention the unbelievably good acoustic ambient music), and the fragility you feel at the start of BL2 that reminds me of waking up in the real world from the Matrix, and then for BL3 i have such a hard time getting past the AMAZING music of the main menu - best menu music ive ever heard. Btw has anyone seen where Cashews come from??? One cashew hanging from the bottom of a cashew apple.... Like wtf soooo far from what i ever imagined
Man, if there was ANY video that I could land on first to introduce me to the Borderlands world, it would DEFINITELY be this one! It covers all bases as an instructional video, an actual solid review that has quite a lot of positivity to promote it and, cause you're such a solid comedian at the same time - there's no chance of any of this becoming a snore fest! 11/10, would watch again!
@@Cashew1405 I mean it dude! A lot of my time searching for things were either hour long game plays, searching specific missions to fix where I'm stuck on or asking about weapons/gear I've already heard of - this clip answered 80% of the questions I never knew to ask/type when I started If you needed to edit the title, tags or descriptions to make it search engine friendly then I'd suggest you go ahead with it - it was really helpful
I know this is kind of Irrelevant to the video but I like how in Borderlands 2 VR they actually added in extra voice lines to teach you how to play in VR lol but claptrap's voice....oof.
What's your favourite start to a Borderlands game? I'm a TPS head, myself!
Same lol best entrance
Based
I don't want to talk about it 🥲
Same, TPS
Bl2 go brrrr

Bl2 is probs the objective best one, like I said in my ranking... I'm biased as fuck lmaoo. Thanks for the compliment tho
I love pre sequel but it’s definitely the weakest start sadly. It even has a farm you can’t get back to.
"Make you sad and teach you how jump pads work" well said 😂
Banger video🐐
Presquel is straight to the point like Borderlands 2 is 1 felt like I was going through a long tutorial
Exaaaaaactly what I'm saying

@@Cashew1405 Fr fr. That's exactly why BL1 doesn't have revive tutorial. Back 2009 GBX expected gamers to have friends to play with

Cool Video .. Revival in BL2 is covered pretty late when you find the Firehawk. First thing is to revive her.

Holy shit what a comment to get! Thanks so much, mate. Glad you liked it :))

Cashew is a legend to the community that needs some appreciation and gives tps some much needed love 😊
Superb video, i really enjoyed the video essay, definitely an A+
It makes me so happy seeing new BL creators!
This video was formatted really good, thoroughly enjoyed it
Why is this video so true tho? Like genuinely the bl1 "start" feels like half the game 😭
Factsss
What a cool video idea bro; c’mon 3k!!
Flynt was okay with Gaige and Hammerlock's Jakobs sniper rifle, not to mention Deathtrap. Btw also leveling up to i think 5 from the side quests

No hate to the new voice actor but Dave Eddings performance will never be topped
Yooooooo many overlooked this including 2k 🤣
Yay
I struggled with Mouthpiece 🫤
