I swear that Poison Pen is magically at every battle event ever, whether it's KOTD, GrindTime, Smack/URL, UW whatever, but I've never seen him lose control and cry because he was laughing so damn hard! and also thanks to the camera 2 angle, we would've never known that both Swave Sevah and Immortal Technique were in the building as well!
Quest Mcody had that prophetic line "the only way they'll win is if Harry cheat again and override the judges". Thesaurus and Illmac deserved their advance, but that shit came true in their second battle with NY. There's no way Wapps and Juce shoulda won that round, obviously they didn't want NY to get swept so they pushed it to three battles. It's a shame that it all went down the way it did, Jumpoff losing all credibility because of all these shady tactics and practices. The whole tournament is groundbreaking history that spawned a new generation of battle rappers, yet faded to obscurity from internal chaos. I would LOVE for someone to make a documentary about the whole thing, with interviews of all the battlers and judges and get their perspectives on what was unfolding.
yeah, wrc was hella scripted without the battlers consent, they stretched the hell outta the battles for more footage which was better for the fans but turned it to a marathon rather than a sprint. the outcome coulda been different had harry not have been so crooked and shady

The first round from Illmac and Saurus was one of the most impressive performances I´ve seen this season, amazing chemistry and powerfull lines! Some real freestyle right there, straight murder.

Marvwon is comedy, his flow is so nonchalant, a lot of writtens here but they spit some of the shit off the top. Besides dudes that are all off the top tends to either have good lyrics with no meaning or punchlines that don't rhyme.

All respect to these guys, to jumpoff, etc, but I'm so glad GrindTime is around now, cause it was basically: Saurus-->Face jokes Illmac-->Short jokes Marv-->Fat Jokes Quest-->Gap jokes And the written league thing improves a lot. Especially with dudes like these 4, who can, for the most part, seamlessly fit their frees and writtens together, it's much more entertaining
