-When we spit it's errorless, but I don't know why the fuck any people are scared against this piece of asparagus. And see the crazy thing to me is that you reek of such arrogance, but secretly you speak to a therapist like " I CAN"T BEAT THE AMERICANS!"- The Saurus, nice.
Kid twist might be my favorite of the entire competition. He's incredibly clever with is deliveries. " And your mom loves giving me slob, so your conception was only immaculate if you consider me god" No body really picked up on that line. It was amazing!
.after more than a decade of watching this battle ive just realised when kid twist says "i am franco and ur just bitchin brooo" that he was referring to that funny post battle interview of franco and element
Man...... i remember watching through WRC for Saurus and Illmac. And seeing the history with ALL the opponents put so much shit in perspective now. This is awesome seeing the evolution of all involved.
this was the best battle i've seen in a LONG time. gotta give respect to pooRICH and kid twist for holdin it down against a team this good. i didn't think they had a chance but i def think it should've gone to overtime.
gotta say, i think these canadians are the best sportsman iv seen on these battle shows. They genuiely show respect to their opponents after the battle and even during the battle.
Man I'm feeling you. As a matter of fact, before I wrote this I was thinking, "man these battles are like pots of gold." With the skills and heaps of entertainment these dudes bring, I don't know why more people don't watch these. Of course what we have to understand is not that many people know about this. I wouldn't know about WRC if it wasn't for a referral on a comment when I was watching another battle. It was back in februrary or march I think. Best thing that could happen on youtube
What's crazy is that I watched this battle when it was first published back in the day....I was a big fan of illmac and saurus at the time, so I naturally sided with them and felt that they won....but years later....today....I rewatched this battle and watched it with a neutral mentality...and now I feel that k twist and porich won this battle...hands down.
He dropped it in his battle against Diz and if you watched the interviews after his battle with PH, he was a very humble dude and has a lot of respect for the league, and honestly, real battle fans respect him too.
I agree with everything you said, notice that pooRICH/Kid Twist got more crowd reactions, but the judges docked them for sounding so written. I was just responding to the idea that theres nothing wrong with written battle raps. If you seen Smack DVD theres entire battles that sound like they aren't even in the same room.
I agree, the problem with all these accapella battles is that rappers aren't penalized for having terrible delivery. If they had to spit over beats half these rappers would be literally impossible to understand.
i'd never heard of him before the battle, got a lot of respect for steppin that hard. guy meant business, i would imagine him making it pretty far again this year if another canada division gets poppin
I laugh so hard everytime i hear illmac say the " fuckin pipsqeak" line to someone twice his height. illmac saurs, kid twist poorich all did sick here.
Porich & Twist edged this, it's pretty obvious if you watch it a few times their bars were just overall better. I disagree with the judges on this first round, I can confidently say Saurus & Mac did not win that one, oh well.
Every one of these dudes with the exception of PoRich is dope. If somehow there was a three way battle, Kid Twist Illmaculate and Thesaurus would be dope. But the best double battle would be Iron Solomon and Hollow Da Don vs Illmaculate and the Saurus.
I love illmac, but that battle was so fucking sick, both had tight bars and punchlines, think it should've gone into overtime atleast. I think either deserved to win, SICK battle.
Dude, I was was actually being sarcastic with the written battles logic. It is not unreasonable to think that most of the contestants in the WRC (or any other rap contest) probably have pre-meditated rhymes if they know beforehand who they will battle. Of course, they can't come COMPLETELY written (because at some point they will have to respond with a rebuttal), but there is nothing wrong with incorporating written rhymes in rap battles.
Back when Twist was still fresh, when RICH wasn't a drunk, when Thesaurus wasn't (AS) cocky, and when Illmac was still top tier...Ah, those were the days.
When i heard "your gonna get beat, stuck in shits creek....fucking pipsqueak, I knew it was over. They're all dope as hell, but Saurus and Illmac are just too damn good on a team.
I could care less about his so-called "nerdy" voice: that dude is dope and had punchlines to be respected. Anytime an MC has dope, hard-hitting punchlines, he will always have a chance in a battle.
Man Kid Twist's always been my favorite lmao. "You're so gay even your teeth go both ways" LMAO
Oof.
Bodybag
"next time you pick an orthodontist, make sure he passed the course at college"
LOL
Secretly u speak to a therapist like I can't beat the Americans
We're battling some lil crackhead, and the monster under illmac's bed! 😂
Kid twist might be my favorite of the entire competition. He's incredibly clever with is deliveries. " And your mom loves giving me slob, so your conception was only immaculate if you consider me god" No body really picked up on that line. It was amazing!
Twist vs. Saurus brought me back to this classic. Amazing.
"Lay off the Happy Meals or do more laps in your hampster wheel" F*cking sick line Kid Twist is a monster
YOU NEED TO TAKE A CLASS IN JAZZERCIZE OR CUT BACK ON THE APPETIZERS!
.after more than a decade of watching this battle ive just realised when kid twist says "i am franco and ur just bitchin brooo" that he was referring to that funny post battle interview of franco and element
I cant handle the way thesaurus jumps around like a fuckin kangaroo
Do more laps in your hamster wheel
Lmfao 😂
09:28
"And he needed frieds, so he called Jim Carrey to fix his cable"
-Kid Twist.
That line was dope. LMAO!
3:00
"You guys are proof that real rap's dead
We're battling some lil crackhead, and the monster under Illmac's bed"
😂😂😂😂😂
"Next time you pick an orthodontis, make sure he passed a course at college"
"chest farts"
"My verse is made of fire" is one sick ass set-up
I hope Kid Twist and The Saurus get a 1v1 battle. Also open to suggestions on any movies with a twist to watch.
You were always gettin bodied, I just chose to do a scheme like this, incase the viewers need a list of better movies with a twist!. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn, the video gives me nostalgia! Remember watching the Canadians and thinking they could pull it out. Crazy!
Man...... i remember watching through WRC for Saurus and Illmac. And seeing the history with ALL the opponents put so much shit in perspective now. This is awesome seeing the evolution of all involved.
"Your so short you could bungie jump off a sidewalk" Low key that was hard lmao
Woah...
"You need to either cut back on the Happy Meals or do more laps on your Hamster wheel."--Best line of the battle, hands down.
I forgot about Kidtwist and Po making it this far. Kinda think I should hold them to a higher respect
still love this battle.. twist/rich came out swinging in the first
what is the song playing during the d mob remembrance clip ?
what is the song playing 0:22 - 0:42
What's the name of the song on the intro? (the scene about D-mob)
RIP D-mob
2023 and I still watch this battle for kid twists rhymes 🤣🤣🤣
What's the name of the song where they mention about D-Marv??? Anybody know??
Twist memory must be solid cuz he was the cleanest of all four. Felt like that was incredibly close.
Kid twist was the shit. Just joined the subreddit rap battles n now watching these after 15 years. Crazy
were talking about the third round segment in this specific battle. not the third battle.
what is the name of the song used in the intro about d-mob ? anyone know ?
where can i find the final battle of this competition?
this was the best battle i've seen in a LONG time. gotta give respect to pooRICH and kid twist for holdin it down against a team this good. i didn't think they had a chance but i def think it should've gone to overtime.
I like this 2 vs 2 freestyle format out of all the rap battle formats, this is my favourite.
SUCH a sick battle, man. Both teams came with fire in each round. Dopeness...it's what it's all about.
So sick battle
props to LA division
whats the music in the beginning of the battle?
where they say that the mc died
anyway rip mc
How did that battle rapper they mention in the start die ?
where are the grand finals?
the one battle I'd watch again and again...
Twist, Illmac and Thesaurus, the best battle rappers around
they both live in diferent areas of toronto?
this should have been the finals... best battle!
gotta say, i think these canadians are the best sportsman iv seen on these battle shows. They genuiely show respect to their opponents after the battle and even during the battle.
the accomplice line was sick, one of my favourites
where are all the female battle rapper at?
who did saurus and illmac battle after this???
Man I'm feeling you. As a matter of fact, before I wrote this I was thinking, "man these battles are like pots of gold." With the skills and heaps of entertainment these dudes bring, I don't know why more people don't watch these. Of course what we have to understand is not that many people know about this. @diznick did anybody ask for an analysis?
What's crazy is that I watched this battle when it was first published back in the day....I was a big fan of illmac and saurus at the time, so I naturally sided with them and felt that they won....but years later....today....I rewatched this battle and watched it with a neutral mentality...and now I feel that k twist and porich won this battle...hands down.
this is quite possibly the best battle I've ever seen
"You needed friends, so you called Jim Carey to fix your cable" ha ha LOL
The Saurus is seriously insane. The saurus did not come weak in this battle, he is out of control.
He dropped it in his battle against Diz and if you watched the interviews after his battle with PH, he was a very humble dude and has a lot of respect for the league, and honestly, real battle fans respect him too.
lol I cant stop re-wathcing this battle.
"All he bought was this hockey stick?"
"Are you gonna finish your string cheese"
fuck.
when is that happening?
Yo man. Twist and Rich were on fire here. Savages! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What rappers u like?
I slept on Kid Twist after watching the Dumbfounded battle, but that kid and poRICH are both super raw man.
is the chick on the left Valerie ?
comming back for some sanity!
appreciate yall.
Awesome battle... both teams came hard as hell, great to see poorich & kidtwist sportsmenship too
Porich what kinda name is that
it looks like illmac's struggling not to laugh every time kid twist is spitting on him haha
Exactly. Everbody was so in awe of Thesaurus/ Illmac's lines that the Canadian's lines were overlooked. I still think the Canadians took this round.

I honestly thought Poorich and Kid Twist took this one!
what happened to d mobb ow did he die?
Robbed tbh. Porich and twist CLEARLY got teh first and 3rd.
what battle were you watching
@@incredible916studiollc4 he's right. Just by a little though.
Kid twists voice is just hilarious to me for some reason. Everything he says makes me laugh
porich's best lines were slept on. The instinct line was nuts and nobody laughed.
Was any of this writtin?
"this little kid loves taking candy from strangers" -kid twist
ahahahahaha!!!!!!
i'd never heard of him before the battle, got a lot of respect for steppin that hard. guy meant business, i would imagine him making it pretty far again this year if another canada division gets poppin
Twist was the star of this battle, IMO...
Everyone expected Mac & Saurus to be great...but Twist kept dropping hilarious one-liners
What happend @ 12:48-13:16?
how kool would urkel be stringing a line those first guys up urkeled that shit real good
Round 1 - Canada (by a nose)
Round 2 - Fresh Coast (by a mile)
Round 3 - Fresh Coast (by a nose)
good battle.
illMaculate and The Saurus are real dope
this whole event was so dope
no its not.

these are the 2 best teams by far..mad respect 2 both
Wow I give it to the Canadians! Wasn't expecting such sic lines from em, epic battle!
this is my favorite rap battle ever...
Also, pause it at 2:32 that shit had me laughing so hard just staring at Illmaculate's face.
I agree. pooRICH/Kid Twist dominated this round. Their punchlines hit harder.
I just hope they participate in 2008.
that kid twist is sick who is he? mad punchlines!
I laugh so hard everytime i hear illmac say the " fuckin pipsqeak" line to someone twice his height. illmac saurs, kid twist poorich all did sick here.
this is the battle i most wanted to see
Porich & Twist edged this, it's pretty obvious if you watch it a few times their bars were just overall better. I disagree with the judges on this first round, I can confidently say Saurus & Mac did not win that one, oh well.
hot fuckin battle! finally some competition for illmac/saurus
Every one of these dudes with the exception of PoRich is dope. If somehow there was a three way battle, Kid Twist Illmaculate and Thesaurus would be dope. But the best double battle would be Iron Solomon and Hollow Da Don vs Illmaculate and the Saurus.
rapping competition or cursing competition ?
Here's your fucking stork and your baby to deliver LMAO
ill was geeking pretty hard with all the back and forth shit, they seem pretty neverous, gotta feeling they was unprepared
I love illmac, but that battle was so fucking sick, both had tight bars and punchlines, think it should've gone into overtime atleast.
I think either deserved to win, SICK battle.

How did that guy die ?
NEEDED to go to o.t!!! Both teams were amazing. Way better than the Marv & Quest battles in the aspect they were more scientific & cutthroat.
tell me about it
Back when Twist was still fresh, when RICH wasn't a drunk, when Thesaurus wasn't (AS) cocky, and when Illmac was still top tier...Ah, those were the days.
give the canadian boys more credit, they were fans of illmac and saurus the year before. theyre hella younger too..
