Really nice coins , I know everybody will have differing opinions but I never liked the dissected shield so these lovely coins will be nice and it will be nice to have a change on the £2 coin .
Well done. I was always fond of the farthing. I was dreading they would awful but I have to say all coins are beautiful. The salmon reminds me of the Irish florin / ten pence.

shame these still havent been released into circulation. There needs to be a big push to enforce and promote cash use and i feel that these being released is a way forward. But whats the holdup?what are they trying to hide?why all the advertising but no actual coins in our change? I also sent a foi request which hasnt been answered,very interesting...the first king who has yet to produce actual money to the public
I appreciate that the initial release of the 2023 BUNC packs will have a privy mark, but will we see a atandard BUNC set by the end of the year? Otherwise collectors will need to preserve lightly circulated coins in place of standard BUNC definitives, which would be a real shame not to have the best quality version of both
Yeah, I already know about the environment and UK wildlife because I'm a British person in 2023. Why have the four national emblems been removed from currency? Does Charles Windsor consider the whole of the UK English territory now?
Nice set but price is mental I've been an avid collector since a child but you are literally robbing people charging £33 for about £4 worth of coins and all you get extra is a cardboard display and privi mark
In 2008 I entered the competition to design the new coins. Two of my designs showed a bumble bee with the motto Industry and a Three leafed oak leaf sprig. Not to mention a salmon with the same arched form ! Did they go back through the 500 designs the public entered for inspiration. ?
Those of us old enough to have used pre decimal currency will remember a solid and dignified coinage which, for the most part, displayed the monarch's head on the obverse and Britannia on the reverse side. This stuff looks childish in comparison and appropriately reflects the currency's disastrous slide in value.
The topic is perfect with the need to put more emphasis on nature. Its not woke it is what the King is into and personally I agree. I am heavily into nature and I am proud that our Monarch is too.

Its still there, the flowers and the crown. Also if you still want it, just collect coins.

The designs are a bit third world, like those coins from little island states.
Would have preffered to see symbols of Britain like the steam engine, the jet engine, the tank, but i suppose we have to go woke and go broke...
