Was just curious as to whether or not Ohio State had a decent line... As an Ohio State hater - I have to say, this is a HUGE improvement over the first video that popped up from 7 years ago. MASSIVE difference. Whoever is instructing the line now is doing something right. Hard to clean with a line that size but definitely decent! Gotta give credit where credit is due and this damn sure isn't bad.
His name is Mark Reynolds. Used to be percussion instructor at Westerville North many years ago. Great guy. That's him in the gray suit in front of the quads. He was also responsible for the Capital Regiment WGI line way back in the day which was sort of the spiritual precursor to Rhythm X in some ways. Here is the Capital Regiment line he ran which had a lot of Glassmen and Bluecoats members, including myself. th-cam.com/video/Q4dLVaGFGPM/w-d-xo.html
That percussion camp they did back in 2021 which I was in I played quads and lol I could barely play the tenor part! I tried lol. Well worth it GO BUCKS!!!!!
I’ve been an OSU fan my whole life as well as an amateur tinkering drummer. But I’m sorry to that OSU’s drum line is not anywhere close to the artistry and chops of Michigan State’s.
my god, that triplet roll was clean. with 14 snares
You need to put your big boy pants on to play in this battery.
Indeed.

The TBDBITL drumline is lightyears ahead of where it was, no doubt.

I'm a Buckeye homer, but MSU is in a class by itself. The precision and aggression of Sparty is off the charts.
