I love how Dan is utilizing his screams a lot more again. From his live streams to these recent shows, he's been killing it with both the harsh and clean vocals. Man's an absolute animal
Would absolutely love to find a tutorial on his scream technique. I have no idea how he gets such a definitive “note” out of his scream. My throat just can’t figure it out. Dude is an absolute legend.
@@GothicOctopus It's called fry screaming. Most people do it by belting with grit and entering vocal fry (usually by slightly reducing the amount of breath support so you're in between head and chest voice). So it's very much a voiced scream. Takes a lot of control to do right.
They sound as tight live as they do on their albums. And more importantly, it’s without the noise. The overall sound level doesn’t punish your ears. They travel the states with a top notch sound guy based on the few times I’ve seen them.
Two of TesseracT's members are qualified sound engineers. Do believe it's Acle and Amos. It shows in their song production. It also helps that Dan can genuinely do all the vocal range he does on their studio albums live.
@@sirdo946 im still of the old days mindset, where i dont think vocalist should record techniques into songs that they cant reliably nail live without hurting their voice or using a lot of EQ aid and such. However, i fucking love tesseract so much i make the exception. And who knows how close they play this song to the beginning of their set or how well rehearsed they were here with the live chains theyve set up for it, ill find out Nov 13th. it may simply be unwise for him to take the belting lead harmony where they have the song placed in the list. Not expecting it november 13th, but it'd definitely make my show if he took the lead harmonies all the way through this one to the end. But that also may not be totally doable without just standing there still, focusing on breathwork and mic control, rather then being a frontman trying to work the crowd. Im not much of a pit guy though, i stay back near the sound desk and watch and listen, so really, my opinion is like the lowest possible denominator when it comes to a live show, and should not be paid mind as credible by anyone whatsoever.

One of the best recordings of “Natural Disaster”, so far, on ze Tubee (sound wise, atmosphere and light show,). Too bad it’s not complete, but thanks a lotto for sharing it ❤ 🎉 Amazing job keeping decently still to film this 👏😎
Amos posted this week on Instagram that they are going through the final steps of the mastering, so yeah, seems like an March or April release is guaranteed!

the djent-only-part is 3 times longer than it should be and sounds hella boring. If they were stretching to reach the 8 minute mark, okay sure, there'd be enough else going on in the song but as is this is a really cheap way to avoid actual songwriting.
Whoever brought the tesseract model to the show, I need you to know that I love you and I need your energy in my life lol
Theyre finally gonna release the album we've been anticipating for so long “Two”.
This is the type of crowd Tesseract deserves at all their shows. Looks like a hella good time. Great recording!
More like hella BEST time! This crowd knows how to party
Yeah arctangent and euroblast are as close as we're gonna get to "djent festivals", this is their crowd
The riff dropped. My head banged. Job well done.
Dan: "when the riff drops..."
Random guy: "hello"
I think that’s Jay the drummer saying that in the drum mic 😭
Man we need the studio version of this already
god i cant wait, as soon as this song drops officially its gonna be on repeat for days
Coming soon!!!!!
September, f*ck it!!!🎉
Just a few more days.

Greatest Tesseract concert ever.

The transition at 0:44 has to be one of my favourites, can't wait to hear it in full acle mixed glory 😈
And it sounds even better with the main/lead vocals instead of Dan's live harmony (which is understandable live ofc)
