Okay, but now they have “value packs” *and* “super value packs”. Any difference on those? You get more canvases in the super value packs than the value and from what I’m seeing on the backs, they both say “Archival, acid free; Lightweight cotton duck; Titanium acrylic gesso primed” - but the regular value pack also says “medium surface”. What is that difference (I’m a newbie, to this). Thanks for any info!
Have you noticed the value canvas not being square? I haven't actually measured it, but I've put a few prints on them and they don't seem to have square corners.
Thank you for explaining the difference between the canvases. I didn’t even know there were different levels. I took an art class in high school, but I don’t remember the teacher going over that part. I guess I missed that day. Your video helped me out a lot.
Just finished an oil painting on 30 x 40". Level 3 Artist Loft, and it now does not sit flat now on wall, so warped. :) Is there a method you would use to unwrap, without having to restretch? Paid the high price so was not expecting it to warp. :(
Did you try spraying water at the back of the canvas and let it dry ? I heard that can tighten the woven and remove the warp. 🤔 It worked for mine but my warp and canvas weren't that big.
Artist Loft is not true to size. Was getting a painting ready and couldn't understand what the issue was...then I pulled out a ruler. Too small. Never again.
Nice insightful vid. I was considering purchasing several Level 2 8"x10" canvases or the 8"x10" Super Value 10 Pack for practice and preliminary work prior to a final painting on a Level 3 canvas. From your experience, have the smaller super value canvases quality wise held up over time? I'm unsure if I should pay more for the Level 2 for the increased quality in case I really like how one of my practice pieces turns out. Thank you.
Sure. The canvas itself is fine, but generally, the frames on cheaper canvases have a tendency to warp. That's the thing you've got to pay attention to.
Thank you SO much! You helped me understand much more about stretched canvas! This information will GREATLY improve my paintings. My only criticism is that you seemed a bit nervous or tired...you repeated yourself a lot, went off on tangents, and kind of had difficulty getting back on point. HOWEVER! I couldn't make a video if my life depended on it...so, good on you. :-)

Please, could you give me some advice about how to disassemble a level 3 canvas?
Super helpful, thanks!

No problem and yes there are different levels, so something to keep in mind!

Will they warp if you draw on them instead ??
They shouldn’t.
Will the12x16 super value line resist to warping when it comes to pouring?
Good information...Silly question...What is the best way to hang a canvas painting ? What do you use?
Just a couple of nails or screws and hang from the frame
Dog 1: yo he's recording the canvas video, now dude, now!
Dog 2: oh shid
Both dogs: *bork boork bork bork*

Wouldn't surprise me. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your explanation and examples. Very clear. I can use the information as a novice.

@@CotySchwabe Thanks for the reply. I will most likely go with the Level 2 when they are on sale.
Very nice presentation...🧑🏻🎨🙂🖼

Tired is 100% accurate. But I also didn’t edit it, and I’m working to make these videos better. Thank you for watching.
He says "Four main things..." and holds up his hand, showing FIVE figures! Ha ha! Math is not your strong suite. ;-)
Well, you’re not wrong...
