Poynton Relief Road

"Relief", because by not filtering the existing road, all this does it make it easier to drive. And more people will, therefore, drive.
Come back in 20 years, the traffic through Poynton will be worse because of this.

The end isn't very well designed, but otherwise that's how cycle paths should be 🤣

Hmmm - not really.
For example, the standards say that a cycle track on a 50mph road should be separated by at least 2m from the carriageway. Most of this has *zero* separation - children cannot cycle safely alone.
Not up to scratch.
