It's hard to believe Amy was only 18 in the Take The Box music video. She was so talented beyond her years. One of a kind voice and soul she had, miss her now and forever.

the humour in amys lyrics is part of what makes her writing so good.. true wordsmith and poet ... her writing is next level . she talks from her heart and sings with her soul ... genius writer . her vocals are just part of who she is... 100% agree. she always dressed so well. and dressed to suit her figure.. would have loved to hear the 3rd album, dont think we will see the likes again . rip amy... also just to add ..if you want to see a different side to amy check out here on youtube "the day she came to dingle" ... its so so good....amy is on her A game vocally too. man i miss her, would have loved to see where she went .
I appreciate you for checking out Amys videos,that voice is legendary! And for being a woman in pain (well,having her inner demons to fight) she had ALOT of humor to her videos. Now you understand why our young wonderchild Angelina Jordan fought her parents over wanting to cover several of her songs. The parents said that the lyrics were too dark. Angelina didnt give up and made a compromise: Let me re-write the darker lyrics into something more suitable? They agreed. She got to cover 2 of Amys songs. 16:33 Amy would hit you with theese out of nowhere,mindblowing control over her voice and vocals!😍

Amy's debut album is just that girl. I got introduced to her with the second when she really made her breakthrough, but I listen to Frank all the time. *In My Bed* | the third single released, reaching #60 on the UK Singles Chart (totally deserved better, it's a masterpiece). The song was written by Amy and Salaam Remi, who also produced. It samples the beat of the Incredible Bongo Band's 1973 cover of "Apache"; Nas' "Made You Look" samples it as well and Salaam produced that record too. Fun fact: Amy was a huge fan of Nas. They eventually met, developed a friendship, and worked together. She is featured on his song "Cherry Wine."
*F-ck Me Pumps* | the fourth and final single released from Frank, reaching #65 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was written by Amy and Salaam Remi; it's also another production from him.
*Stronger Than Me* | the lead single from Frank, but the lowest-charting single off the album and of Amy's career, peaking at #71 on the UK Singles Chart. Despite that, it won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song Musically and Lyrically in 2004. (Another Amy/Salaam Remi writing/production team-up)
*Take the Box* | Frank's second single and the highest-charting, peaking at #57 on the UK Singles Chart.
