More and more people should adopt instead of going to a breeder. Instead of paying so much money for a pet, you can adopt one that needs a home even more. You not only save money, but you can change these animal's lives for the better. By donating to or adopting from a shelter you can give so much love to animals who may not have had anything previously.
Adopting from a shelter gives them another chance. A chance to be happy & have a family. A chance to be loved & to live a good life.
Gotta our guy from local killer shelter almost 18 months ago. He's an amazing dog & there are so many more like him waiting. They are NOT broken. They just need a chance.

I have 12 rescues currently. I fostered 4 of them before adoption and the others were found through my time volunteering.
It’s great to adopt from shelters. But they’re often very strict. We couldn’t adopt there, cuz are still at university. They told us our apartment is too little(80m2), we wouldn’t have enough money, time, patience, experience, ...
So we got our cats from a rescue organisation and it was the best decision ever. So don’t give up if one shelter says no.

Since being with Lee, he has lost over 16 lbs. The previous owner did not treat him right. Left in the yard with no activity to eat whatever.

My heart breaks, watching this again knowing Tony is no longer with us but knowing the amazing life lee gave him and what a special boy he was RIP Tony two tones the best boy ever x
I felt sad too, but it cheers me to know the last few years of Tony's life were probably his best, with his dog-father Lee, a loving pack and great outdoor adventures. RIP Tony
Tony was an amazing baby. My family had 3 Shepherds over the years.
Comfort is he lost the weight and his last days were spent being loved and as part of a pack of other canines: best life 🥰🥰

I second that. Every time one passes my heart breaks and I’ve had to go through this with all of mine. However Lee & Luke’s babies are part of my family also. And sending monthly donations makes me part of the community.

When I was a kid I used to want to turn my grams house into a rescue she has 4 and half acres of land and I thought I could save all the needy animals I would still like to do that but junkie family bullied the house i was supposed to get

I adopted a dog yesterday. She is my eighth rescue (not all at once, but through the years). Every dog has been unique and filled my life with love. If you love dogs, RESCUE!
I also have 6 rescue dogs at this time but have rescued over 130 dogs & cats over the years. I love these guys passion!
I too adopted two dogs few months ago i love them
ive only rescued one, because when I was a baby my dad got 2 dogs from breeders but now that I'm old enough to know, I begged to rescue a 1.5 y/o German Shepherd and she is so sweet. better than the breeders' dogs in my opinion.

Tony is adorable and what's heartwarming is how his behavior changed as soon as he got in the car, his tongue was lolling out, you could tell how happy he was to be adopted!

I am so glad y’all promote adoption. I always adopt. I’ve rescued two senior cats & numerous other, younger ones. Right now, I’m temporarily dogless, but when I get a place that’s appropriate, I can’t wait to get a new adoptee! So, for now, it’s just me & my 10 year old kitty. She wandered up to my place 10 years ago & never left. I wish I had the resources to do what y’all do. Keep it up, brother! ✌️

Love every one of Asher's stories. The story of Tony is very heartwarming. The adopted Chihuahuas melt my heart. Going through a sad tragic time right now personally and this is one of my go-to uplifting places. Peace. 🌻

These guys are simply awesome. Giving up material goods and dedicating their lives to getting dogs adopted. The amount of travel and effort they put into this mission is just unbelievable. To see anyone give these guys a thumbs down is baffling.

You guys made my day. I wish I had a buddy who would take that plunge with me; my dream is to have a sanctuary and to also help old and poor people keep their dogs. I know that if people had dog walkers and better nutritional advice(raw real meat foods etc), that they would not dump dogs as often.
Dogs today don't need raw meat because they have been domesticated for so long but they do really well on cooked meat.

OMG Tony, that poor GSD. A Shepherd that won't chased down a ball!?! Who ever had him before, was an idiot. This from a owner of 2 GSD, they will keep going as long as you, and as you lay down exhausted they will circle you, poke you with a wet nose wanting to know what's next. Good luck Tony on your new lifestyle and diet changes

@@drunkkhajit5035 he's overweight and out of condition, Tony needs to loose weight or he will have hip issues, the German Shepard is predisposed to hip dysplasia.
