- It's time for Lee Asher to take K.C. and Pearl, his two foster dogs, back to the shelter for an adoption event. Lee and Sydney have gotten very attached to them, but there are already 9 dogs in the pack and they can't adopt more - or can they? (Part 2 of 2)

Whoever raised this man did a stellar job. He is caring to ppl and animals, strong yet in touch with his emotions, playful yet serious when necessary. Kudos to his parents. They should teach a master class in raising boys.

Right!? I really wanted to have a boy so I could raise a kind man like Asher. I’m beyond grateful that I could have my daughter and wouldn’t trade her for anything, but sometimes I feel sad my body wouldn’t let me have another bc I’d love to raise a empathetic and sweet boy. Unfortunately my body doesn’t like pregnancy hormones and it’s not safe for me or the baby to have another. But I found animals help a lot with my need to nurture. But looking at these two I bet they’d make excellent parents if they ever choose to have human babies. They’d raise some wonderful boys and girls. How lucky their kids would be to grow up with a huge pack of furry friends. But if they only have furry children those animal are the luckiest in the world.
Soooo, I have been watching these videos of Lee Asher for a while now AND they make me so very happy. This guy has a lightness about him, a sort of joy, I would say. His heart and soul are there for all to see .... he is a happy person cause he does what he loves to do,^_^. His lady Sydney....is a perfect partner and so they make the perfect team. With so so many bad people out there in the pet world, it is a true pleasure to see these happy stories of a good man saving, fostering, and adopting these dogs. I don't have to send blessing,,,,,he already is.
And yet I've never found a man in my life who understands my love for animals she's lucky she has a great guy there and he has a great gal
I know the feeling all to well. I take better care of my 3 rescue doggos then I do my self. I do not own my animals they are life companions.

Diane B he’s out there, just keep looking. My previous relationships didn’t understand my love for animals but my husband not only loves our cats (we can’t have dogs right now), he also walked dogs with me just for fun! We’ve fostered, we’ve foster-failed, we’ve fed strays. It’s beautiful when you share that :)

My heart was Breaking just at the Thought of them going back into those cages. When they were talking about nobody making a move to adopt them, it got even worse, knowing that Lee and Sydney already had Ten dogs. I was So relieved when they couldn't surrender them back into the shelter! Such beautiful people with a fantastic love for dogs. Thanks to Lee and the very beautiful Sydney for all that they do. Cheers!!
Wow thanks guys for adopting them both, 14 years old and surrendered how awful so being with you is a meant to be blessing, and Pearle is a cute little Chihuahua blessed with adventures now after a life in a stupid crate, you guys rule!!!! Your the best!!
Please adopt people. My rescued cat just turn a year with us. We got his European passport today. We are going to be 20 days in France for Christmas and he is going with us. 2020 goals, adopt a new cat or dog.

@@dranzerjetli5126 some shelters that I know waive the fee for adopting a adult or senior dog. Where as adopting dogs could go from 20-300 dollars at least from what ive seen

I know. I knew he wouldn't leave them. I'm actually glad nobody showed up because they'll for sure have a good life with them. they both have huge hearts and love all dogs.

I had to watch this video set again after seeing Lee's memorial video for Ce Ce today. The wonderful Asher Pack/Family gave her the best ending to her life she could have hoped for. Took her to see the world and live the rest of her life being Loved by his side. I am humbled by the work they are doing and all the Love they give caring for those little souls who were left behind - not forgotten. This story touched me deeply and I won't forget what he said in that amazing video. Go watch for yourself on his TH-cam channel "The Asher House" - video is called "In Loving memory of Ce Ce". What a great example of how Live!
I tried tears of sadness, then tears of joy. I am so happy for them. I adopted a 14 yrs old min last Sept. She was a stray, nos she's a velcro. A real sweetheart.

I thank God for people like you. I cried like a baby when you brought them back to the shelter. Then you saved the day and I cried like a baby because I was so happy for them and you.
This one had tears running down my face. I’ve rescued 2 fur babies. My oldest fur baby Jada passed away February 20, 2020 at the age of 12-13 and we had her for over 11 years. I’m so heartbroken! I also know my other fur baby is heartbroken without his sister. I want to save them all but I’m still broken and lost. I hope some day soon I will be ready to rescue again...

I can't stop crying... gosh ...
I am in the process of losing my 16 year old love due to heart failure. It came on so suddenly. I lost my 18 year old two years ago. Having had seniors for the last few years of my life, I can honestly say they are the best. Our city only allows 3 animals per household, so when I am ready to adopt again, it will be at least two senior dogs. Seniors pretty much have their personalities and manners developed already, they love to be with their people, they’re grateful for you, and you can’t rule out all the love they give unconditionally. While puppies are great for younger people, I think seniors are my speed now. Just hope I can find two that get along!

You two are such good people and I thank you so much for taking in these sweet dogs. I have had 2 "failed fosters" and loved them both to pieces. The first one I did give away but she didn't mesh well with the dog already in the home so like you said, everything happens for a reason. I took her back and had her for 13 years. God bless you both and the rest of your "family."

This is the exact reason I don't think I could foster. I'd keep them all. And seriously this guy is fantastic! I hope to find a guy like this someday!
My last 4 boys have all been over 10 years old when I adopted them. My current boy is 14 and no signs of slowing down. They are the best dogs you could ever have. Please consider adopting a senior. They are beautiful.
Sometimes i feel like if a person has the ability to foster an animal, then they may have the ability to simply keep the animal, especially if they like them, but i can understand how that might not be the case...

Lee you did the right thing, it would have broken your hearts to leave those pair behind back in the shelter where one wouldnt understand why she isnt at home with her pack and the other would be stuck back in a cage again! Hats off to you guys for helping these poor babies! big hugs from me! xx
