- In this video you will see what happened at the 50th LHOTP anniversary/reunion/festival, if you didn’t get to go, or if you just want to watch for fun:) It includes the 3 sets they recreated, going to the actual place were walnut grove was built(Big Sky Movie Ranch), pictures with some cast members, and more! I hope you enjoy!
I also met a subscriber who also has a little house channel! Here’s her channel:
/ @racheloppeltharrietsc...
I also made another video similar to this one where you get to see the original Walnut Grove, VS what they did for the 2024 reunion. Check it out here!:
ALSO at 0:49 the more I looked at it the more I realized that its not the iconic road, but I think its the road before you get to the Ingalls house (not part of Walnut Grove), and it's also not the road by the church, though it kind of looks like it. Anyways, I just wanted to say that, and let me know if you think you figured out where that road is in the comments!
What a lovely video! Your family looks adorable in the period outfits. The music played with the facades on the bus tour gave me goose bumps and tears! Melissa mentioning Melissa Sue was a nice nod to her older sister, “Mary.” Fans would’ve loved if Melissa Sue Anderson could’ve attended the event.
i’m so glad you noticed the music! that’s one of my favorite parts about the video❤️ tysm!! i wish she could have been there too
It brings me tears to see the “real” locations! Thanks for sharing
OMG YOU GOT A PICTURE WITH THEMM!! THATS SO COOL! (i love ur costume)
tysm!!
Very nice. Have a HAPPY EASTER. 🎉 Jana
Same to you
I was there a week ago and it was amazing! My only regret was that we were only there for one day. We flew in on Friday night, went to the festival on Saturday, and had to fly out Sunday morning. We did get to meet Karen Grassle, Alison Arngrim, and Charlotte Stewart. I wanted to stay and meet more cast members, but we simply ran out of time. Got some great pictures of everyone else there in the pavillion, so that was cool.😊
so cool! i wish i could’ve met more too❤️
Love it

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU MET MELISSA!!!!! THAT IS AMAZINGG!! I wish I could have gone!! 😭😭
Isn't the next one in ten years or something?😭
idk anything abt another one, but ikr!!! i wish i could have met more of them!
Thanks for posting this
No problem!❤️
Amazing thank you..lucky you and your family for that experience.. would have loved to be there
This was wonderful!😊 Given their character’s history and that blonde wig Alison has, I would LOVE to see Alison Arngrim and Melissa Gilbert do a remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?😃
Whether it’s Broadway, a TV movie or a theatrical release, they would be PERFECT for it. AND Alison would now be pushing Melissa in a wheelchair.😂
I still watch this show and I’m 60. This brings up so many feelings. It’s like visiting old friends and locations in a happier simpler time but in present day. I’m so glad they did this because the cast is getting older everyday and pretty soon even more will be lost. It would have been wonderful if Mr & Mrs Olsen were still alive and of course Michael Landon and Mr Edward’s. I don’t think any other show from back then including the Brady Bunch would have as much interest in a 50 yr event like this. Goes to show good values and first class writing and production will hold up for eternity. Unlike the garbage today. We need positive morale family shows like this today.
awe thank you!! im so glad you enjoyes it. im 15 and i agree the shows today are trash. i loveee old shows, like bewitched, i dream of jeanie, lhotp, im watching dallas rn and more!
The show resonates with people so much, because it is what every human ultimately desires - strong family & community that love and support each other, and, dare I say it, a belief in God. We are wired this way, because God created everything, and this show reflects most of the teachings you will find in God's word.

The LIttle House the praire 50th Anniversary Love my favorite one fan BIG 💖💖💖💖💖💖🎶 Laura lngalls Wilder Book 📚🌻
☺️☺️☺️ Mickaël Landon , n'a donc pas pensé à ce moment là que ce lieu mythique aurait pû être un lieu de tourisme pour tous les nostalgiques de la petite maison dans la prairie. ? Mais qu'est-ce qui a bien pu lui passer par la tête à ce moment là ?❤❤❤.
i mean, the buildings on location were actually empty, they used sound stages to film the interiors, but i agree!❤️
😭😭😭 dommage que Mickaël Landon ait décidé de tout dynamiter a la fin de la série !!!❤️❤️❤️.
i know! even though he had many reasons why, it would be so cool if they were really still there:)
Was Mary's first love Radames Pera there?
