Thank you!!!! this is so informative and a great benefit for me because I don’t have time to wash my hair often and sometimes my hair grows faster when I leave it alone. Thank you Karen. You’re a blessing.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m loving your gray, too! I just had all of my color and relaxer cut off the other day (a huge difference, I had no idea what I would look like) and am looking forward to watching more of your videos! There are not many graying and natural women of color on TH-cam (a few but not many).
I am so overjoyed that I found your channel! I am mixed (German and African-American) and have thick curly hair. My daughter has thick, dry, curly hair and my son has fine, dry curly hair. Your tutorial has helped me TREMENDOUSLY 🙄. I am now subscribed and my notifications are turned on. Bless you for this information and this channel. Can't wait for the next one 😁.
Thank you Nina! I think you find some of my newer videos of help to you and your children. I have videos ranging from styling, to product differences, to hair growth and hair loss! I've got it all! Thank you for the sub!
I have heard that trying to stretch the WnG causes damage: Basically , our hair shouldn’t go more than a few days without some moisture either a refresh or re wash
Hey there! I think everyone's hair is different and you have to figure out what is your moisture cycle -- or how long your hair stays moisturized. Here's a video: th-cam.com/video/g8nAxafl11Q/w-d-xo.html Also, reseting the hair is similar to refreshing because I typically add more moisturizer to the hair. I can tell you this -- my texture has changed so much that I moisturize my hair every few days now. Thanks for your feedback!
Thank you, this is so helpful...I am new to wearing my natural hair and going gray at the same time...I look forward to your videos and learning care for and style my natural hair.
Great video and very informative. When you said product did you combined curl refreshing and kinky curl togther. My hair is lk yours but in the back half way. It is not as curly.
Thank you so much! Yes! I used the curl refresher (or you can use any water based leave in conditioner or just water), wet hair, then apply the kinky curly curling custard (or any gel that you use) to reset the hair.
Hello, this is on another subject. Have you heard of XTC products? The reason I ask is because you are a Trichologist. I was told I have CCCA, so I started using the XTC products last month.
Thanks, my hair has 4 types of hair textures, this has always been an issue for me. Thank you so much. What is the edge control product you used again? The front of my hair is the thickest. Never have found anything to lay it down.
Thanks so much🙌🏽👏🏽. I’m a gray natural newbie with a coils twa. I am struggling with dry hair😩. I have a mini twa by day 2. I thought creams and butters were better for high porosity gray hair. Should I try gels instead? Your hair is lovely!!!!
Cream and butter do help to provide moisture to your dry hair, however gels typically give you a little more hold. Try using a cream underneath, then applying a gel for extra hold.

Love your video!
Just wondering I have very soft wavy white hair. Your hair looks more course.
Will this process work on my fine, soft wavy hair
Absolutely it will work! You if want a firmer hold then you may need to use gel but the technique is the same. And thank you so much!
Love it, Karen looks great!!
Thanks Ms Edith! You can see what I’m doing on my spare time 🤣
I love this video....the tips are useful and easy yo follow.
Looks great
Thank you for another super informative video can't wait to try it😊
What is the number 4 etc is the texture of your hair, its the same as mine I think. Your vid is so helpful
Awesome! I’m like a 4a/b. Or how I like to describe my hair is medium textured and a small c pattern
@@KarenofCurlHouse ooh ok! Thanks! Good to know!
Hello, this is on another subject. Have you heard of XTC products? The reason I ask is because you are a Trichologist. I was told I have CCCA, so I started using the XTC products last month.
I don't use XTC products in my practice, but I have a few colleagues that use that product line so it is a reputable line.
@@KarenofCurlHouse Thank you for replying back I do appreciate it.
Is why my hair cant to save wash an go more then 2 days I have 3c, 4a low porosity gray hair. What to do in this case
Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/GZ_FoAXUGJo/w-d-xo.html
Thanks, my hair has 4 types of hair textures, this has always been an issue for me. Thank you so much. What is the edge control product you used again? The front of my hair is the thickest. Never have found anything to lay it down.
I used Joie Naturals My Gel. It gives decent hold, but doesn't last forever. I think Arcani Coil Edge Control gave me some good hold as well.
Where did you get your pick
I can't remember! I think from Sallys actually
Hellooooo😊is your hair fine or thick textured?
It’s in between - medium. Definitely not fine or coarse. The density is medium as well. And hello 👋🏽
Thank you! 1. Did you let your hair just air dry or did you use a hair dryer? 2. What is the name of the edge control product?
I let it air dry. But you can use a dryer as well. I used the Arcani coil care for edges
