Thank-you! I'm a white Mom with no hair. Your video gave me the added info I needed to make my child's coils last longer. This is such an easy style now that school has started.
I've been learning so much from talented people like you who kindly take the time to make these videos. Really SEEING the amount of product that is needed was key for me. I can read and hear people teach me about caring for a black child's hair but seeing it done is the most helpful.
@@Evie-Hope was that not something you researching when seeking a black child to care for? If I was caring for a Asian child I would look up how to care one and what their customs and needs were.
@@ChelseaSaidTV perhaps the child was brought in the middle of the night by social services? Cool. I think it's cool that you use the Medium coils as placeholders or plaits. Alot of work but it slows flexibility with the style. Well done and Straight to the point.
I’m going to do this on my son. He’s been asking for coils for a while and I finally decided to try to do them for him. Thank you for this video! If this doesn’t work then I’ll find someone to get it done for him 😅
Thanks for sharing how to do this lovely style. I am trying to get into the natural hairdos and it's so hard finding someone to do my hair for me where I live. With your help, I can do it myself. Thanks again. 😊
Oh yes yes sweetie I’ve been thinking about doing my hair that way for so long my hair Started looking dry funny and thin because of my medication I have to take but I still wanna make my hair like that I feel that with you I can do it thank you for sharing I’ll keep looking and watching your videos I love you girl
I know what you mean. I feel like I have been living under a rock and when I came out all African-American women had at least shoulder length, 4C textured hair except me.🙃
Thank you for the video I used to do two strand twist and now that my hair is shorter I always wear it on a Afro glad I leaned how to do this style as well
@@karolyneglow gm... omg you are a blessing I watched this & was like her hair is exactly like mine. It curls up real tight and when blown out it's long. I can only keep my hair out for so long b4 it sweats and draws up so tight. I hope these coils work. I'm doing toooooday
Excellent video. Watching you I thought I could do it. I have all the products I need but half way through I was tired as hell (my arms went numb). I will try it again soon but in the meantime, thank you for sharing.
I'm a clerk. Hands go numb really fast....another concern..sleeping on damp hair and not waking up looking like Antwon Fishers moma or J.J in the morning ..I probably would sit under a dryer...thanks for the tips...about to try it...
Hey girl!! I'm so thankful I stumbled across your tutorial because we have the EXACT same type of, and length, of hair!! I'm very anxious to try your technique on my hair. My hair's gotten longer and I'm ready to try a new and simple style I can keep for 2 weeks!! I'll post before and after pics as soon as I do it. Btw I've gone natural and cut my hair since my profile pic, guess I'll change it once I'm done. Thank you & God bless!!🙌🏾😍🤩
Great tutorial! How long did this take for you to do? And what would the cost be for your sons amount of hair. I am learning how to twist and I have also seen 2 strand twists. But I love the look of this. It takes me a long time, my poor nephew I try it on. So just curious how long just the top should take? And cost? Thanks in advance
I was thinking the same but then I realized that the first time she was parting it the way she wants it to be styled then once that was done go back and twist away, parting , detangling, and moisturizer (products) done.
I agree. Her hair turned out beautifully, but I get the same result by skipping the chunky coil step. I don't get how this is easier as it adds more work and more time. But hey, it must work for her. 😊
Oh yes ma'am Miss Jackson no pun intended I just meant as black queens we often times feel the need to wear makeup, which is okay, but I just thought I'd compliment the natural beauty that she has. BTW, we also don't compliment each other as we should either...From one queen to another! Peace n Luv
This was a great video! Thank you, Sister! Im going to try this today!!!! Question - no satin pillow but I do have a satin bonnet that I sleep in- that should be fine, yes?
Thanks, African American hair TH-camrs, for I am stuck on my scarf, tie and go, now to make myself get us to the hair I hate, to take better care of what God has given me, because I am not completely White or Latin like my grandparents, so I have to work harder on my hair, which is something I should be used to at my age. Thank you Jesus I can accept my hair now because I have come to accept and understand that I have naturally curly hair, even though it looks nappy, feels nappy and combs nappy, it is naturally curly hair so I have to treat it that way to be healthy and look healthy by keeping it in its natural pattern as much as possible. Thanks!
Nothing wrong with nappy hair, if the good Lord had given all human beings nappy hair or straight hair, would we all not embrace what we have? But because he gave us variety, we begrudge ea h other.
Noce tutorial BUT I got modway through the tutorial before I realized this is not for me as I have thin hair and your hair HAS to be thick to pull off this method in your tutorial.

Beautiful hair! And the video was very detailed and amazing!
Thank goodness I found your channel been trying to to find hair styles for my hair because it is short.
I know what you mean. I feel like I have been living under a rock and when I came out all African-American women had at least shoulder length, 4C textured hair except me.🙃
Always detangle your hair from the ends then more up to the roots to prevent treating out the hair. Beautiful style, well done.
Thank you for the video I used to do two strand twist and now that my hair is shorter I always wear it on a Afro glad I leaned how to do this style as well

What was the point of doing the medium coils when you ended up doing individual coils any way? Thanks for your help
I was thinking the same but then I realized that the first time she was parting it the way she wants it to be styled then once that was done go back and twist away, parting , detangling, and moisturizer (products) done.
