My C138 arrived two weeks ago, the version without the optical sensor, is really awesome and also ultra resistant, you wouldn't believe it, I had screwed up doing some manual gyro calibration by mistake while I was trying to change the angle of the blades (yes you can do that, the angle also changes, is linked with the throttle, you may be able to control it alone if you have a hobby radio/transmitter, idk, cuz it is 6ch after all, is not 4ch like all the cheap others. And I didn't knew what was going on, what I'd done by mistake and I crashed it pretty hard around 6-7 times, and only that tiny antena in the back broke right away, nothing else! Not even the blades, just took a little bit of the paint off the tip off, the very tip, insane how resistant this little fellows are, is unreal, cuz they don't want to shut off, so the crashes are horrible loud and brutal, trust me, but this thing somehow just don't care about it at all, nothing was even loose, after I setup it right again, was hovering perfect, like I'd just took it out of the box, and let me be very clear again, I'd screwed things up trying to make it better, was no one else fault but mine, but now I can give this feedback about its resistance, and everything else, just like you said, is a blast. I love it, thank god I'd to return my C187 and got this new model ! About the fact that it does a great job keeping the altitude by itself, like everything else, the only thing that pushes it away is the wind, cuz is super stable. But yeah, would be cool to have how to turn off the gyros complete, the altitude holder, go to a 3D mode, but anyway, is super cheap and fun and great looking, and you can get it which the good transmitter, no one is complaining about it or anything else, I've been watching videos and reading commentaries, is altitude holder makes it so much easier, special in the wind, is pure fun, no worries. You can increase or decrease the angles of the blades, like for example, is this video, there was no wind, and you like to fly it scale, nice and slow like me, you can decrease the pitch a bit, to reach the minimum, to save a little bit of battery, not much, cuz it comes with the angle close to 0 already, you can increase a lot the angle, making it unstable and burn through the battery, so just don't increase. There is also a auto gyro calibration and a manual one, be very careful with the manual one, is easy, but dangerous. And another tip, you can paint it just like the real one, the tail stabilizator, the exhausts and the spotlight shouldn't be white, what I did was paint the tail red, the exhaust and the spotlight to black and add another red strip to the center of the blades, now looks way better, and is easy to do. The last thing that I'll do now is find some product to spray it and makes the paint looks metallic, shiny, but without eat the plastic.

By the way the c138 has the tail rota on the correct side. I think the C138 looks better than the big fly wing one. The main rotas are too low on the flywing one. Also the tail rota as well as being on the wrong size is not in line with the rear stabiliser fin and is more like a propellor than a scale tail rotor.
yeah, they knocked this one out of the park!!! It is so dang pretty. The Fly Wing (bigger one) has it's scale issues, like you said, but it too is a BLAST to fly. I'm now finding myself wanting a 4 Bladed Bell 407...which Fly Wing DOES offer a retrofit for the 206...but then the tail boom would also need dual vertical stabs, and I want a painted, proper looking tail rotor, before going to a 4 Blade Main rotor.

Funny how you describe your hobby shop days looking at Jet Ranger models...I was exactly the same way. But this was almost 50 years ago. Growing up in south Louisiana with the largest heli operator in the world (PHI) made these helicopters so near and dear to my heart. PHI flew dozens of 206B Jet rangers and they even landed at a gas plant that was in a field right across from my house. I have been into aviation my entire life and am approaching the end of a so far 44 year career flying and maintaining aircraft. When I first saw BANGGOOD advertising these little heli's a few months ago it blew my mind, and I couldn't order one fast enough. I bought the little MBB-105 Boelkow which I remembered seeing zip across the skies as a kid. My earliest flying heli toy I ever got was a Vertibird, about 1971. I wore it out in short order and luckily was given another. I also remember building the 1/32 IMC Jet Ranger plastic model kit a few times in the 1970's. I currently have the testers version of that same kit built in PHI colors. I built that kit in 1989. I've always dreamed of getting a cost-effective RC Jet Ranger and now by God they are here!!!!!! I've got my little red and white Jet Ranger that is so much fun to fly and looks so good while it does fly. Going to buy at least a half dozen more because......just because and will be customizing the paint schemes. Now we need the Bell 205 and 212 built to scale just like these little guys, and also the classic Hughes 500 original, maybe even in the Magnum P.I. colors!!!!!

Hi BPRC - thanks for all you and your family do for the RC community! Love the reviews and the truth - good or bad! Planning on buying this and a few other RC Era birds. Still learning to navigate RCGoing but not finding much for replacement parts - blades and batts mostly. At these price points should I expect not to find spares or just not looking in the right places ?
Thanks! We really appreciate you being here with us! Since RC Era is more of an "entry level" offering, there aren't as many spare parts available as some of the more expensive brands, but you can find what is available by going to bprc.me/RCGoing and then hovering over RC PARTS and the selecting HELICOPTER PARTS. There are a few RC Era helis with spare parts there. Hope that helps!
hi from Italy thank you for your video so i have question about tx is possible all ciclic control to left stick and throttle and yow/rudder to right stick ? thank you in advace for your reply .bye Max
If we can do away with propietary packs or RC ERA get wise on Costumers wants, needs , more ppl will buy them. I like them & Its too big for the 120 shelf , anyways . TY for peeks .
yeah, proprietary batteries are terrible, and wonderful all at the same time. I love the ease of loading, but hate having to keep track of each type. I'd far prefer a battery ADAPTER, if they offered a proprietary battery, then I could use whatever OR what they send in the RTF.
Hello Brian, always have a great time watching your reviews. Great work. I have a question for you. The Uh1 V4 you reviewed recently. I am wondering and willingly to get one immediately if it comes in with the Bell 206 V4. Do you know if Bell 206 V4 comes out soon? I like the new technology in the V4 and love to have it in the Bell 206 style. Thank you Brian/Megan.
We already have, first batch complete... Bluegill Hybrid Bluegill Bass Cat Fish Grass Carp Minnows We'll be adding more in a few weeks, maybe September or so... Yellow Perch Walleye ...then if we can catch one, a loch ness monster...if Megan says it's okay.

i own two of these! Love them both!
Ordered one through your link. ;)
Cho tôi hỏi bản này Có cảm biến không mà sao bay đứng im vậy ạ. ?
I enjoy all your videos, but put some pontoons on planes and do some 3rd Looks on some models. Let's see more flying around-the-clock beautiful pond.
@@BrianPhillipsRC yes sir thank you!
hi from Italy thank you for your video so i have question about tx is possible all ciclic control to left stick and throttle and yow/rudder to right stick ? thank you in advace for your reply .bye Max
You change between Mode 2 and Mode 1 ...
Does it have cyclic control or just rear rotor?
If we can do away with propietary packs or RC ERA get wise on Costumers wants, needs , more ppl will buy them. I like them & Its too big for the 120 shelf , anyways . TY for peeks .
yeah, proprietary batteries are terrible, and wonderful all at the same time. I love the ease of loading, but hate having to keep track of each type. I'd far prefer a battery ADAPTER, if they offered a proprietary battery, then I could use whatever OR what they send in the RTF.
Such a cute little guy!! (Rc Heli)
We already did the Bell 206, and it's here now ;)

Oh, you did the V3. I am asking if you know anything about the V4, newer version. 😊. Thanks.
My c138 is all over the place😮
What fish are you going to stock the pond with? Koi are always cool and if you feed them when you fly they will always show up for the videos
We already have, first batch complete...
Bluegill
Hybrid Bluegill
Bass
Cat Fish
Grass Carp
Minnows
We'll be adding more in a few weeks, maybe September or so...
Yellow Perch
Walleye
...then if we can catch one, a loch ness monster...if Megan says it's okay.
@@BrianPhillipsRC you can train some fish to come if you make a consistent noise when you feed them. I knew a guy who had a dinner bell on his dock that he rang when he fed Blu gills and they would go nuts when he rang that bell. But it sounds like you are stocking with game fish so no cheating like that
Esse e o modelo pro ..😮😮muito n
Bom
What a great little model. What protocol does it bind to for us Mode 1 flyers?
Brian I haven’t watched all your vids but did you stock the pond with fish too?
The RC ERA 206 has the tail rotor on the correct side(left).
I think your channel is awesome man cool helicopters do you know much a bout the goosky venom helicopter but doze not come with control do you know what kinda of controls that can be yous with that helicopter many thanks keep up tje awesome Ness 🤘
Is this one better then the EC135 rc helicopter c187 for beginners? Thanks
Yes, but that one is also good too. The Bell 206 is just very good, and it's cheap too! bprc.me/RCEra_C138_Bell206_Heli
