I think the most important thing of what you said is "trust your brain". Sometimes we delay our learning because we don't trust on the things our brain can do in subconcious level, behind the courtains of ou own perception. Most of the times we just need to feed ou brain with the right raw material and wit for it to do it's magic. We act like that annoying boss that doesn't trust his employees and keep asking them to send reports of what they are doing instead of actually letting them do their work. There seems to be a very mistaken belief that the concious part of our brain should be involved in every process, especially learning, as igf our sub-concious brain was stupid and unable to do anything without our concious survaillanc, but it's not true at all.
Thank you for such an insightful comment! our subconscious brain is so powerful. For example, sometimes I go to sleep with a problem on my mind, and by morning, the solution just comes to me. It’s a reminder of how strong and reliable our unconscious mind can be if we trust it. Thanks again for sharing!
excellent advice, insight and wisdom. I like the "second personality" tip. This is very useful. It frees you to "become" and grow into the new language and away from all the pre-built, words/symbols from our first language that come out automatically and without thinking.
This really changed how I learn a new language. Azerbaijani is my native lamguage, English is like my second brain which formed naturally over time, and right now after listening to you I think I'll finally be able to create a third brain for German 😊
First, the level in the language is related to the age at which you learn the language. Russian(6 years old+10 years of learning), German(10 years old+5 years) and English from the 16 years to add 2 months of learning the language in my youth. What happened after my learning was finished... My German melted away after a few years without maintenance. As for English, I didn't know I had learned it in such a short time. After the age of 30+, I found out that I can understand native English speakers, but I can't speak it myself.
I think your reason may come from not practicing daily. The more you practice, the more connections between words you create. I still do not speak English fluently, but I have been practicing by writing every day, and I realize it's helpful.
@@nguyenthanhxuan2272 I have 16 years experience of using English in Ireland. I don't know what you mean by the definition of fluent. To maintain the language you need to live in that country or have your job linked to it.
A child can use his second language at his level to progress into his native language as his second language. Therefore, a person is an adult he intends to lose his knowledge without using it even his native language. Translation is a normal process with languages I do not know.
This is so right! I've been trying to learn Italian unsuccessfully for years . Last time I was in Italy I actually caught my brain telling me "you're not translating it" then I panicked and went back to trying to translate before responding . I never managed to get that 'thinking in the other language ' back ..
Don’t worry. thinking in another language takes time, and it’s okay to revisit translating while you build confidence. Thanks for your comment and for sharing your story.
Hello Mila!! It's a bit difficult to me not thinking in Spanish while I'm trying to say something in english... and I think a lot in the words I have to say and how to do for people understand me and try to organize the ideas inside my head... I would try to put your advices in practice... ❤❤ thanks
Thanks for sharing!! I totally understand, that’s so common! Try speaking slowly and focusing on one idea at a time. With practice, it’ll get easier.🌱✨️
I have one thing to ask ,can these new AI learning app would help me improve English like Talkme, sivi. Have you ever tried these apps for learning English?
Mila Vibes, There is a problem with your channel. Your subtitles are being generated automatically. We foreigners rely heavily on English subtitles. (tem um defeito no seu canal. As suas legendas estão sendo geradas automaticamente. Nós estrangeiros dependemos muito de legendas em Inglês)
Language is a form of programming. It's true that different languages have different "personalities". There is a reason why colonizers always want to destroy or devalue the language and culture of the defeated. You need to understand the deeper meaning and origins of language

Coisa divina 🙏
I can listen to you speak all day, your voice is so beautiful.❤❤
Thank you so much! 🦋✨️
Completely agree 👌
Memorizing some patterns (sentences) helps a lot when speaking and I believe you have time to think while you are just saying these sentences
I completely agree! Memorizing patterns gives you a foundation, and over time, it becomes easier to adapt and create your own sentences naturally.
I agree, and fluency improves over time. At least that's how my English improved I guess. Thanks a lot for the videos! +1 Sub

A new language shapes a new personality. But how can they truly interact if they don’t even speak the same language? :)
Haha😂
You have to think to translate in my mind, I'm learning to translate without thinking!
Great ❤
