Love the recognition that we are whole. Breaking down the body into discrete symptoms may have been a necessary step in our understanding, but in treatment practice it falls short. Thank you for such an interesting, informative, insightful, helpful, and hopeful conversation.❤

This is illuminating and also worrying because most of us cannot simply afford to go to a chiropractor daily or weekly. Thankfully there are other simpler and cheaper ways to get the pre-frontal cortex on line, as you shared.

This was SO informative and encouraging! Is there a particular kind of chiropractic that is best? I’ve been to several who do the cracking and am going to one now who uses a small instrument on the spine. Is one better than the other?

This is an amazing podcast. I’m 57 years old and feel like I’m in a dark place at the moment. I’m losing my language, I struggle to construct a meaningful sentence, my focus is lost. My self esteem is gone. It’s like I’m a totally different person. I’m scared of developing Alzheimer’s.
I have gone through a very difficult marriage in the last 30 years. I always beat myself because I couldn’t rescue myself. Currently the marriage has stabilised but I feel I’m now “damaged goods”. How can I help my self?
3 years ago I was diagnosed with prediabetic which I have managed to reverse through life style including intermittent fasting.

That sounds hard. Tai chi, walking outdoors, and seeing other people being sweet to one another has helped me smile and entertain hopeful thoughts and feelings again. Best wishes for you as you find your next steps.

Don’t get discouraged: minimize sugar, distress as relationship issues trigger inflammation and shuts down higher level language skills and you can’t do calculus but basic tasks until you go back to calm mode.

The hormone receptors in brain bit is so interesting. I had a benign pituitary tumor 15 years ago-no Docs could ever tell me the cause. Now I am hearing estrogen dominance?

Very disappointed in this, it sounded so promising, but I don't see any references for studies to see where she is getting her information. If she claims that little muscles in our spine are in any way responsible for mental illness, something backing that up should be resource number 1.
