Hi, I am wondering if you can help me. I am looking for an iem the does male vocals very well. In all my years in this hobby i have only found the Kato to suit my preference which had that thicker and weighty sound behind the male vocals. The only iem i have heard in common with you is the falcon ultra but I found the male vocals more distant and considerably thinner sounding when compared to the Kato. Yes, it may have sounded natural tonally but it did not have that power and thickness behind the voices which did not sound life like to me either. What are some of your recommendations for an upgrade over the Kato spefically for male vocals?
All I can say is that the cable which comes with these IEM's is pretty darn good! I bought a set of the NiceHCK Blue Luna's on AliExpress, not knowing they are being sold with the Himalayas. The cable set me back US$49. The modular 2.5B/3.5/4.4B are locked into place with a screw-down ring. This should be a standard for all modular cables going forward. Silver plated OFC. It's my new favorite cable amongst many.
Oh man, I purchased the twilight and the Timsok off your review recommendations and love them both. My single DD collection is very similar to yours and I adore single DD sets - EA500LM, Falcon Ultra, Advar and IE600 are also in my collection. I may need to give this beauty a try!
One other question...have you created any specific eq settings for the Himalaya to bring it closer to your preferred target? I loved your settings for the EW200! 😊
comparison to simlarly/higher priced single DD was expected but comparison to a similar priced hybrid would be interesting also. and if you prefer it over twilight why is twilight still in your top iem video introduction, putting your top iem pick in your videp introduction is a great idea but it is only meaningfull if you limit it to 5 iems maximum, too much information kills the information
@@tonedeafmonk I want too have 1 good IEM up too $600. Was thinking Night Oblivion Butastur but Pilgrim new IEM comes witch is better , and you say Pilgrim better then NICEHCK HIMALAYA right ?
@@tonedeafmonk Looking to buy 1 good IEM up too $600. Wonder if you had a chance to hear the Night Oblivion Butastur 10BA each side got good reviews and how it compare to the Pilgrim.
Just the longer nozzle, The nozzle has the screen the 500 level mesh filter and the tuning foam in the nozzle. Same as the Red Ring Brass Nozzle from E500LM
Got pula02 on your reco. Now these. Haha, need to unsubscribe soon
Sorry not Sorry
I got the Pula 02 also, that video really sold those.

The multiple frequency response graphs on squiglink show that this IEM is not for me.
Really looking forward to seeing your take on Pilgrim😮
Maybe Today

Yeah definitely remember to buy the Simgot kit or the Moondrop nozzles

If you have a EA500LM or 500 use the brass nozzle w red ring or the Simgot tuning kit with the med sponge and 500 level filter and it's perfect 👌
Quite amazing that it's sounds so good with that simple mod and doesn't require any additional eq. Keep up the good work sir! 👍
lol, what a coincidence, I literally bought one 2 hours ago 🤣
Now the wait! Aghhhhhh
is really cool when an IEM lead you to discover or rediscovery music
I agree they are in my ears again tonight

Good point the Twilight is special it stays. And I did I hybrid comparison the ME600
@@tonedeafmonk sorry, you are correct i missed the me600 comparison, too much information killed the information :)
Regarding the Simgot Tuning Kit, which foam and mesh did you use with the new nozzle?
500 mesh and medium density foam
@@tonedeafmonk Thank you for that information sir 🙂
You are selling it, man! Definitely need to check out other reviews. Too much of these cheap quirks in your video, which is concerning, though.
These vs Pula 02??
Did that because of many asks the two are not really a fair comparison or fight. The Pilgrim is a few levels higher

Great review! Thank you Sir!
Thank you for saying thank you 😊

Yet another excellent review mate! Where to get the simgot nozzle?
Didn’t realize there was a shortage I would ask Simgot directly on thier Discord Server or on AliExpress if ypu have access.

@@tonedeafmonk thanks man. So the only modification you did for the review is the nozzle right?

@@tonedeafmonk appreciate the clarification mate. I am new to this and just trying to understand.
Say it with me TDM: Thor Myolneer.
Himalaya FR with the Simgot nozzles looks tasty 🤌
You should see the outtakes 😆
