Digging new cuphead 4th difficulty update even i know its mod The master quest also adds unused features such as Goopy's fake KO, super art 1 original sound, and unused attacks for certain bosses. Also all phases in each boss that doesnt use all variants So its not just Expert+ where bosses get large HP boost aswell as speed.
So Master Quest is basically Expert mode, but with a meatier health bar and more projectiles and enemies. That’s one way to make Cuphead harder than it already is:

I'm all in for increased difficulty through design, but making the fights longer by giving bosses more health is a big no. Cuphead bosses can be as intense as they are because they're fast. Making them longer would make them exhausting. It breaks the formula. Just my opinion on the mod. Great video!
I agree. Expert plus was pain. It just halves your damage, so their HP are effectively doubled. MQ has some varieties, faster projectiles and some unused elements like the cloud in Cagney Carnation

I updated the description. The footage of Simple in The Devil and King Dice is from a debug mod, what allows you to activate these difficulty. In earlier versions it is possible due to a bug in the game. Go to any stage, activate Simple and don't switch the difficulty when fighting King Dice or the Devil.

To play, yes, with either the glitch to access King Dice and The Devil, or with a debug mod in which you can simply choose that difficulty. But King Dice and many minions lack hitboxes, so they won't receive damage, thus they are impossible to beat. For the regular gameplay, you need soul contracts from the bosses to progress further. You only receive them on Regular or Expert
Try using the spread shot and the pea shooter. take your time to destroy the fireflies in phase one. there is a pattern to the energy balld the frog is throwing, it is always the same. hold a bit of distance to the frogs. the bouncy balls in the last phase are very difficult, try using Super Art II here. the snakes are easy, you can stand infront of the machine and deal much damage with the spread shot. stay as far away as possible in every phase. good luck, it is not that hard and gg for coming that far :)
In some places it looks like you're using invincibility hacks but I don't want to say things that maybe aren't, maybe it's just like that's the cuphead hitbox
No hacks were used. The MQ mod or the main game weren't altered in that way. Please keep in mind that some hitboxes don't overlap with the sprites. Tell me some places and I can explain it even more. If you dash while in mid air, only your shoe has a hitbox, so your head can pass through a projectile.

Take your time, it is on your side. Focus on dodging, not hitting her face, it will happen anyways. 1st Phase: Stay in the left corner and use the mini plane to dodge. 2nd Phase: Count the hand dances she does, it is about the same every time (1 guess 5 times the first time and about 20 times in the vanilla game the second time.) Hit the eels with the bomb, that deals more damage. You don't want to have too much projectiles. If you are petrified, you have to mash any button I guess 23 times, so just spam everything you can. Lign up Cuphead so he has much space, dodge the barriers or projectile way in advance, so you have time to get free from the petrification. Good Luck, it isn't that hard. Merry Christmas
Yes, since it doesn't improve your skills and you can't finish the game. I also dislike the idea that Ms. Chalice makes the game too easy and that you still can get S-Rank after a hit. Same applies to the heart charms and Cuphead/Mugman

We can see the differences when you play Master Quest:
-Faster moves
-Longer phases
-More entities that help the boss
-Bosses have more health
-Patterns are more varied
Longer phases and more health is the same coz more health is what makes it longer
