- In this video I attempt to beat the Cuphead Master Quest Mod for the first time in under 16 hours! Master Quest is a mod that increases boss's hp, adds new boss attacks, and brings Cuphead above anything in the original game in terms of difficulty. Do I have what it takes to beat this insanely difficult In the limited time I'm giving myself?

There is a mod that makes every boss have 10x hp. Not suggesting or anything, just letting you know...that...that exists.
I've heard of that mod! It looks painful just cause of how long it would take, but I'd be interested in trying it out sometime!

Also in case you never knew, in Master Quest, some of the bosses have unused attacks that they wouldn’t even use. (That being Baroness Von Bon-Bon, Cagney Carnation, and some other bosses.)
That was one aspect that made this even harder!

The dash length increase is only present in the Master Quest mod, and the dash length stays the same in unmodded Cuphead. Sorry if I confused you or others lol

Ngl if the developers of the master quest mod added 1930's style animations like the rest of the game I think it could retain its difficulty without being an eyesore (for example: the disappearing platforms on beppi)

True that can make it quite difficult to recognize patterns. Honestly, it's a pretty basic tip, but just keep practicing. The more you can make each boss attack muscle memory, the more it'll get significantly easier. I've made some shorts on other general tips if you're looking for other ways to get better as well!

Some of them are reimplemented unused attacks, so they have placeholder designs. It does look pretty weird though.

This video was honestly one of the best videos I have ever seen but how did you get master quest because I would love to play master quest
Thanks, I appreciate that! You need the Steam version of the game to play it. You also have to change the version of the game to 1.1.5, I'm pretty sure. It definitely doesn't work on the newest version of the game. There should be a link to the mod in the description of the video, but let me know if it doesn't work. From there, you'll have to open your game files and add in the files you get from downloading the mod. Make sure you back up your game if there's a save file you wanna keep. When I change back to vanilla cuphead, my progress on the DLC gets erased sometimes, so keep that in mind as well, although there's probably a way you can prevent this. Hope this helps but let me know if you have any other questions!

@@idunno7790 cursed relic makes it so you have 3 nerfed charms, every time you press the shoot button the shot is different, and lastly, it sets you to 1 hp
So I was watching the section where you were dealing with dr. kahl's robot phase three and when i was listening to the background music, after hearing a few notes of the background music i found out its actually a song from pizza tower called "Pizza Mayhem".

to make each boss harder
Root Pack: Make radish come out no matter what
Goopy: Make him split in 2 like the demo
Mausoleum: make some ghosts not parryable and required to be shot
Ribby and Croaks: Bring back the cancelled devil slot where all three would come out. Let croaks spit fireflies in phase 2
Hilda Berg: Make lasers come out on both sides of the twins sun attack. ONLY GREEN BLIMPS. Give her tornadoes all the time, rapid fire HA HA HA
Cagney: 2 pink seeds per fall. 3 boomerangs. Cloud explodes bigger.
Beppi: No back up warning animation. Roller coaster FASTER.
Baroness: 3 heads at a time. jelly beans and baroness gun every phase
Djimmi: get rid of phase 3 safe spot. 2 hats. Mugman puppet that shoots shots based on lobber or ring. Chalice puppet that shoots crackshot based attack. Mini Cuppet unavoidable
Wally: faster birds, birds shoot eggs. Not always parryable gun shots. phase 4 is already hard enough
Grim: every 3rd fire marches jumps. The fireballs break 8 way. (suffering)
Rumor: Triangle and ball both same time. Bee bombs coming in during phase 2 and 3
Werner: All of his attacks fast. 5 ghosts. keep rocket attack in phase 2.
Brineybeard: Cannonballs and sea creatures all phases. More fireballs. 2 barrels.
Cala Maria: You already made this beast even worse. get rid of phase 2 and 3 safe spots I guess?
Kahl: I hate you
Sally: 2 umbrellas, secret phase 2+3 is unavoidable, mouse bots in phase 1
Phantom Express: Ghost fires some parry eyeballs that can hit your cart. Skeleton never spawns in the middle. Lolipop ghouls cover safe spots. Train has ghost parry things as well as pumpkins.
Dice bosses: 1 has more rapid fire. 2. goes faster with harder patterns. 3. switches more often. 4. pip and dot have more spiked floors. 5. trick dont work 6. more ghost riders 7. FASTER ATTACKS 8. 4 chalks, more lasers. 9. No
King Dice: more Hp. pink joker card which cannot be parried as a trick. Phase 2 where he has some of his cancelled attacks from the art book.
Devil: faster attacks. some bombs are not parryable. henchmen in phase 2. 4 platorms in phase 2, 2 in phase 3.
Now this would be a while other level!

Not having any platforms for the Devil's 4th phase, so the player would have to use parries to gain height for some of the attacks (Which means Whetstone should be the best option for dealing damage).

Glumstone: Get rid of safe spots, every platform but 1 goes up with geese. bad breath is faster. gnome spikes on ground stay for phase 2. Gnomes shoot several darts. no more parryable darts. constant spitting fro glumstone
Mortimer: have him summon 6 icicles that cover whole screen. Popsicle bats every 2 seconds. when doing whale attack he still moves. buckets blow up into 5 projectiles. eyeball never stops beaming, you have to jump off and dash to survive. 5 pixel space between spikes in phase 2. 5 ice cream cones are multiplied.
Howling aces: you know what lets just bully people. ENTIRE FIGHT IS UPSIDE DOWN
(just kidding) 5 yarn balls, 5 tennis ball dogs in phase 2. tennis ball attack in phase 1 every 1 second.intense amounts of lasers.

Angel & Demon:
2 platforms maybe? I think they should randomly change every 10 seconds regardless on who you're facing

Fun fact: in root pack boss fight you can just don't hurt the onion,if you don't deal any damage to him he will just go back underground and you will move to next phase
+ if you go through potato Man and take a hit, you can head to the far right of the screen and be able to shoot him without jumping
But there will be a beet during the carrot

So guys i am trying to make a decision but i can’t decide, should i buy cuphead on my computer to play with mods even though I already bought it on xbox and beaten all bosses with s ranks or should i just watch people do it?
If you're up for the challenge I'd say give it a go but if Cuphead is more of a casual game for you maybe it's best to watch others instead depending on the mods you want to get into!

Thanks, I really appreciate that! Wally is a tough S rank, but here are a few tips that will hopefully help. If you have the DLC Devine relic works really well since you have access to so many charms, but heart ring works well too if you don't like the weapons switching whenever you use EXs/Supers. Coffee is another charm I'd recommend if you don't have the DLC. Don't stick too close to Wally in phase one. If you position yourself close to the left side of the screen but not exactly touching the edge, you can dodge Wally's egg attack just by moving above or below the eggs before they explode. For his bullet fingers attack, just try not to be too close to Wally. Throughout the fight, make sure to parry the little pink birds as much as you can build up supers fast. In phase two, try not to make too many big uncontrolled movements. Small movements up and down will work great, and try to position yourself close to Wally's head so you're dealing good damage. I'd reccomended saving up a super for phase 3 to complete it quickly. When the eggs circle in on, Willy switch to bombs cause the eggs block the Peashooter bullets. Just try to track as good as you can, and if you have to move in and out of the egg circle, shrink and try yo control your movements as much as possible. I'd reccomended saving a super for the final phase right up until you think you're gonna get hit to save yourself from taking damage. Bombs work very well here and just watch above the whole time for falling trash. Don't stick under the medic birds for too long cause they'll periodically shoot pills upwards. Hope these tips were able to help and let me know if you have any other questions!
