    Lindsey Buckingham in my opinion, is the greatest "all around" rock guitarist AND vocalist of the last 40-years - should be in the greatest top 10 guitarists of all time,. Incredible talent!! I couldn't wait until "Lindsey Buckingham" hit the stands. The CD is awesome and every song is great. Not one bad song on the whole album. I have six of his eight albums, and all of the Fleetwood Mac releases. Lindsey is a national treasure. Keep rocking and writing your incredible songs!

    Nope, there are no better guitar players than Lindsey Buckingham. He is gifted and so very talented. I just saw him at The Keswick Theater and he blew the crowd away! Fleetwood Mac needs Lindsey far more than Lindsey ever needed them! Hands down, his solo show was better than any of the Fleetwood Mac concert I've been to.

    Miss this guy on the scene, legendary artist. Lindsey is so familiar with us all that he has become a melded part of our consciousness. He is archetypal at this point. Lots of people around the world even in non English speaking cultures that may be considered obscure would have heard his music somehow in media and not even realize who Lindsey is yet they know of the music somehow and remember it. Lucky to have this artist performer still with us and contributing to his genre of art. Thank you for recognizing Lindsey for us with this important interview. Nothing but respect from me for his work.

    This was such a great interview. Lindsey is just amazing in so many ways. And I'm glad he was shouted out for his vocal abilities. Of course he's a guitar great and a brilliant songwriter and producer, but his voice doesn't get enough credit. He has such a beautiful and distinctive voice!

    Lindsey created all the songs for FM.He was the architect of the hits.He's given so much of his creative self to the other songwriters of FM.Shame on them for not letting Lindsey go out and tour for a mere three months esp.when other members have done that with their solo work i.e.Stevie.

      @@cuttinupthecarpet504 yes they wrote them but Lindsey produced all the songs that you hear on the records.Like I said he made them hits.Have you ever heard the demos of Christines and Stevies song?They are nothing like you hear on the finished album.Case in point find Christine's song HOLD ME on you tube in demo form.The chorus on her demo is bland but when Lindsey gets a hold of it its magic!!!!!

      + larciabella if you want to have an idea what kind of music FM would have made had buckingham-Nicks showed up, check out Bob Welch's solo stuff after leaving FM (frankly, very good stuff. Welch is a great guitarist). Fleetwood always relied on his guitarists for the direction of the band and the sound. Cristine would have been the lead singer with Welch like in Heroes are Hard to Find. But they would never have been superstars, just mere mainstream pop artists at best, and their style would just die when the early 80s came. Truth.

    • @larciabella
      @larciabella 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aracelymoran2504 you mean had Buckingham Nicks "Not" showed up.Yes I'm aware of FM with Bob Welch i.e.Mystery to Me album song Hypnotized by Bob is awesome.Future Games is another classic by Bob and Bare Trees which has the original Sentimental Lady version on it which Bob wrote too.Then we have Bob's solo albums with songs like Precious Love,Ebony Eyes and the remake of Sentimental Lady on it.So yes I am very aware of Bob's contributions pre Buckingham Nicks with FM and his solo work.

      john santangelo Unless you are a Glenn Frey, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, lead guitarists don't make solo big hits and albums. McCartney was never about the guitar craft either and always saw himself more of a lead singer than guitarist (unlike Lennon). Many guitarists have made solo albums and never got the notoriety, but it has been Frey Lindsey who excelled in it (unlike Frey who owned the 80s as guitar soloist but retired in 92 and did nothing new until 2021, 20 years later). That says a lot of Lindsey. Front singers from a band who go solo tend to excel quicker (and paradoxically bomb harder) than say a guitarist/singers.

      @@utbabee no actually she made him love. He may have been the reason she joined FM but in the end their hit songs were Stevies. Rhiannon was their first hit and that was Stevies song. Dreams is their only number one hit single as well. Lindsey fans really boggle my mind with how hard they try to prove Lindsey is the reason for Stevies fame when in reality without Stevie nobody wouldve ever known Lindsey Buckingham. I mean not many people know him as it is. Lindsey used to tell Stevie that she is nothing without him. True signs of a narcissist right there but she of course proved him wrong through her solo career. Bella Donna reached number one on the billboard top 100 when it came out and Lindsey's solo career never even took off. So I'll say it again. She never needed him at all and he never made her. Stevie is the reason FM is what it is today and the reason Lindsey has some fame. But a narcissistic asshole would never give her that satisfaction. Then again Lindsey did abuse her for 19 years.
