O.M.G! I literally choked and spat food out of my mouth not expecting you to say that "This is called bee proctology"!! BAAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAAAHAAA!! This is the best bee channel on youtube by far!! Thank you for the laughs and the effort you put into all your videos!!
Y'all seem to have so much fun. I really miss being out in the country watching my dad and brothers do all kind of exciting, interesting and dangerous things. They disturbed a bunch of bee hives but never removed any like this. Watching your videos bring back so many memories...with all of y'alls inside jokes and laughing.
I bought my first suit from Dadant today. I drove 2.5 hours to get it form them. Ironic you mention them in the vid. Ironic to me anyway. They are super nice people and gave me some freebies for taking the trip to see them. The store is very clean and loaded with history. I went to Hamilton IL, I'm from Davenport IA. I enjoy your vids, been on a binge last few days watching.
You NEED to purchase a $30.00 laser thermometer. That will pinpoint the heat of the hive right through carpet. It may only be a few degrees increase in temp but it will show you where the hive is located. I use that a lot more than the "bee scope" camera. Trust me, it will cut down the time it takes to locate a hive, it will reduce the time it takes to access the hive and to repair the area. I have a cutout on the 5th of July. Watch for it and I will demonstrate the laser thermo.
You guys are awesome! I really enjoy your video's. My father use to have bees and would help remove bees, I now have a better understand of what he experienced. Thank you!
Randy I have watched what I thought was all of your videos. However this seems like the hardest cut out I have seen. Best of luck you are the pro brother.
I normally love Randy's videos but, I stopped watching at 13:53. It broke my heart to see that 3rd colony just destroyed. This wasn't anyone's fault but, I just couldn't stand it. It'll be a miracle if the queen and her hive survive. I love honey bees so much and I hate to see them suffer and die, especially after all of their hard work. Still love your work, Randy!
My question is, do you pay for "Damages" you did to the house from removing the flooring and siding? And that leads me to another question, how comfortable do you feeling having to tear up someone's house to remove the hives? (Just came across your channel, and now I'm finding a new found respect for Bee's)
I do as little damage as possible and I do not pay for damages. The property owners need our services and the damage is a necessary part of the removal. They usually have a contractor ready to repair when we are done.
@@Warren1138 Why would he need to? If left alone the bees would do much more damage than DirtRooster does removing them, due to chewing away wood and insulation, drawing other pests like cockroaches, beetles, etc., that also cause damage, and the damage that the honey will do sitting in the walls and wood of the buildings because of moisture that draws mold and such. Homeowners that choose to just kill the bees and leave the hive to rot are choosing to draw pests like cockroaches/rats/beetles/etc., and all the preceding problems. DirtRooster cutting away a few floorboards or drywall isn't doing nearly the damage that leaving them dead or alive would.
This was a rental and these people just moved in. I'm not sure how long it was vacant but I'm sure the last tenants knew they were there. I guess they just didn't care.
Most people would be freaked out by the bees. I am freaked out by the honey. I have the worst unnatural fear of being sticky and i can hardly watch these without cringing but they are so fascinating.
I did civil war reenactments. In Hattiesburg, absolutely a beautiful area. Also did a couple a baviour i know i spelled it wrong. But it use to be acroos the street from the beach. And another one a vicksburg courthouse. I loved doing them in Mississippi.
Oh, Lordy! Remind me never to go into the hive removal business. I haven't done swarm removal yet, but I think that's about as far as I wanna go. Good job!
Rooster you ever have anyone tell you that insulation makes them itchy? My brother always told that to me when we were kids and made me go in and lay it/ tear it out. I would get covered in it both the paper and the glass kind and never was bothered by it. Starting to think my brother was lying to make me do all the dirty work...
Man you have balls of steel. I started watching these cause my daughter (5) was interested in how bee's pollinate flowers. I have now watched just about everything you have on yoru channel and have started to get my wife into it:} Maybe one day I'll get my own hive. anyways,
628DirtRooster Hahah I completely forgot I had uploaded that! I guarantee you, if I get bee's I will bug you with questions:} After I do some serious research of course. This does not seem like a hobby you can half ass.
hey Randy! had an idea for a tool to add to your arsenal because of this one. get ya one of them dog poop pickup tools, the one with a squeeze handle and claws that looks like the end of a steam shovel. bet that may help on that dropped comb. of course it should not be a used one... just sayin'
Sometimes the bees build a bad situation for themselves. And its sad for the beekeepers to see. Good job. Thanks for the video. Oh - awesome camera work.
Ah, BEES! They do just as much damage as termites! Do yall have a contractor that repairs the damage behind you? And BTW, Is that your brother with you?
We let the home owner hire who they want to put back what we don't want to tackle but we put all this one back together our selves. You are correct. That is my little brother.

I got stuck in the endless loop of youtube and found this channel now I'm obsessed 🙂 it's strangly satisfying.
Glad you fell down the rabbit hole. ;)

628DirtRooster I did a bold face hornets nest today. They tore my black ass up big ass cedar tree decade old nest.
628DirtRooster You are a bad son bitch. I won't step out the truck without my suit on.

A big thank you to yourv brother on this one.

Haha We do have plenty of inside jokes. Thanks for watching.
When he puts the smoker on the vacuum "we get it, you vape"
+Nathaniel Ward lol
Best bee channel on youtube. Thanks for putting these up!
Aw man. Thanks
628DirtRooster
It's true it is.
I feel for you guys. Those were quite dificult to get to.
I love your channel. I have been following you for about a year now. Your since of humor cracks me up.
Yay! Thank you!
Missed this one. I am convinced your brother has all the cool tools. And working on a hive from the top down! Ykes.
Haha He does like the specialty gadgets.
Have you ever try packing the smoker with Hemp Leaves Lol probably a bad idea?
I wouldn’t know where to find those. They’d probably work fine though.
What a waste of bees and honey. I'm always impressed that you guys remain cheerful and patient through it all so good job!
All I need is this spatula! Oh, and this smoker. This spatula and this smoker, and that's all I need. And this vacuum! haha! Addicted to these videos.
From one of the best movie scenes ever. Thanks Leslie.

Caleb Welte I would like to see their place. We get a lot of supplies from them. Too far away for me.
why am I so addicted to these?!
It's off to beeaholics anonymous for you. ;)
Me too

Where does one purchase this? Thank you
Trippppppple the hive. Tripppppple the fun.
+Collaberative Gaming Channel Indeed! Thanks for watching.
Super Charged Smoker! LOL Never seen one glow before. :)
+Scott K. Or burst into flames.
I don't know why, but lately I am obsessed with videos like this!
Craving the honey?
628DirtRooster I am after watching your videos 😂😂 it looks so good! on the plus side. Im learning so much about bees
Yuck, what a mess.....
Those bees are making you guys work hard!
Blood, sweat and tears brother.
You guys are awesome! I really enjoy your video's. My father use to have bees and would help remove bees, I now have a better understand of what he experienced. Thank you!
Your back, thanks, missed ya🇨🇦🐝🇨🇦🐝

628DirtRooster do you carry insurance to cover them suing you out do you carry a contract around for them to sign.

Do you have more videos of houses like this?! This was one WILD video!!!
Plenty
Wow very hard work ya'll put in. How do people allow something to get so big in their house? Can't they hear them buzzing?
This was a rental and these people just moved in. I'm not sure how long it was vacant but I'm sure the last tenants knew they were there. I guess they just didn't care.
Thumbs up for the Jerk reference!
Got to keep those old movie lines alive.
Most people would be freaked out by the bees. I am freaked out by the honey. I have the worst unnatural fear of being sticky and i can hardly watch these without cringing but they are so fascinating.
+JasonVS Jason2015 Funny but very unusual.
Awesome, did you keep the honey and bees?
I did civil war reenactments. In Hattiesburg, absolutely a beautiful area. Also did a couple a baviour i know i spelled it wrong. But it use to be acroos the street from the beach. And another one a vicksburg courthouse. I loved doing them in Mississippi.
When you are hired to do a bee removal, do you charge by the hour or do you go out to do an assessment and then give a quote?
Quote
You guys are the best!! I love your videos! That was A LOT of sweetness. Good job.
+John Rideout Thanks John
Oh, Lordy! Remind me never to go into the hive removal business. I haven't done swarm removal yet, but I think that's about as far as I wanna go.
Good job!
You've gotta do at least one just to say you did.
You need a nice wide pair of salad tongs to under that soffit by the chimney inside the house. It's unreal the places honeybees get.
Yes indeed
Just keep going. much better later later series. Telling myself to do the same.
these videos are very interesting to me...its satisfying to see the hive cleared!
+Robby Bobby Clearing the hive is our specialty. :)

ooh my gosh that honey looks so good!
It is very good. Thanks for watching.
So true. These vids have me craving honey in the comb!

Blanco Niño LOL I hope you do get some bees. You'll love it.BTW Your squeaky eye video is gross and hilarious at the same time.

:)
Aaargh!! @21:24 it looks like there is a face staring right back at you from inside the hive - #scary!!
Good job
Are bees back again to the same place ؟
***** They probably do have them back but I haven't been by there since we removed these.
It is amazing at how loud their buzzing is. 😳
can you take bites of those honey combs like is that edible just like that or do you need to process it first
You can eat it straight out of the hive.
@@628DirtRooster gotta watch out for the “spicy” parts (the bees)! 😂
Hello, what do you do with the honey and wax? Is it thrown away due to the bees stuck in the honey?
+Pawsnpencils Sarah K (artistic owner) Strained through cheese cloth.
+628DirtRooster could you make a video of this process, or how you extract and use the wax combs? Do you make candles or sell the wax to crafters?
Pawsnpencils Sarah K I've got some up already. Just can't remember the titles. I keep my wax. Planned on making a bunch of hand lotion some day.
So... How exactly can two or even 3 hives live so close to one another? Wouldn't they fight?
Oh man that sucks on the last hive. All that hard work the bees have done only to be torn down. I feel so bad for them.
They didn't have a permit though. ;)
How often do you suppose you get stung doing these hive removals?
Nic Petersen As little as possible.
Did enough bees survive from that second hive "scoop out"? What a messy and long job!
+crazy808ish Oh yeah. Still ended up with a strong bunch.
Very cool channel, ive been benging over the past few days. Deathly allergic to bees so I respect your line of work. Good vids, keep them coming lol
Thanks for watching Wes.
Bee proctology! I got an image of you trying to get the endoscope in a tiny bee but. Stay still little one. LMFAO.
I laughed a lot at the jerk reference. "He really hates these cans!"
And the polyp/nail. Lol
Can't over use Jerk references.
I wonder if the owner gave them permission to tear out the floor?
Nah If I see a bee go in a house I break the door down and go get the bee. The cops don't mind.
LMAO. I remember that movie , " IT'S THE OIL CANS " too funny . What was the name of that movie?
The Jerk
Need more current videos please. I’ve probably watched all yours past and present
So did they end up with ants, once their bees were all gone?
More likely other feral colonies came and robbed what was left.
if left alone will such big hives ever leave by there own? or will they stay for good?
They will die off occasionally but that house will catch swarms and have hives in there from now on unless something is done to prevent it.
wow thanks for the quick answer
I THINK a good set of barbeque tools would help you a lot.
Who puts the house back together when you're done removing bees?
grayswandir47 We did on this one but sometimes the property owner will do it or hire a handy man.
Unbelievable amount of work there, wow Cans I love "Cans"
Beautiful place and home.
So in your experience what type of bee has the hardest hive to remove?
+Sir Boxed Wine It's not the kind it's where they build. The ones who find their way behind chimneys or high in roof framing are the hardest.
628DirtRooster Good to know.
Do u ever just eat a bit of honey dripping off the cone when u pull it right on out
All the time. We usually just bite off a big chunk.
how come you guys dont wear like protective gloves and stuff? dont you get stung a lot?
We do get stung and sometimes we wear gloves but they are difficult to work in.
Them bees were giving you guys a workout for sure, one of those box of chocolate cutouts you never know what your going to get.. now on to part 2..
Seems like more times than not there's a surprise in dealing with bees.
the beginning of this video reminded me of like the beginning of a paranormal activity movie if that makes sense haha
LOL, I don't like horror movies but I'll have to watch the beginning of that one out of curiosity.
628DirtRooster Never mind. Changed my mind after looking at some of the pictures for that movie. That's some crazy looking stuff.
Looks like you need to design a combustion chamber for your turbosmoker.
Ha!
hey Randy! had an idea for a tool to add to your arsenal because of this one. get ya one of them dog poop pickup tools, the one with a squeeze handle and claws that looks like the end of a steam shovel. bet that may help on that dropped comb. of course it should not be a used one... just sayin'
LOL No used scoopers... Check!
I haven't seen one of those but it sounds like it might be something to look in to.
petsmart or petco should have them.
This one really looked like a task!
Soo much work!
New stuff is just as good as this old stuff.
Dam. Those girls were loaded with pollen.
Sometimes the bees build a bad situation for themselves. And its sad for the beekeepers to see. Good job. Thanks for the video.
Oh - awesome camera work.
It's really unusual when three out of three colonies build in a way that made them hard to get.
yep
hopefully that's a once in a lifetime find
Did all the honey go to waste? It looked full of dying bees and dirty. I would love to taste raw honey straight from the comb.
Nah, we fed it back to bees on our apiary.
That tool looks like a giant fish slice/spatula
K, just seen it up close, it actually is one, on the end of a stick xD
+blazednlovinit Yep
Damn them girls in them three hives as we're working hard
This whole job was a cluster... It was just one of those days i guess. Man i hate it when stuff like that happens. Cant catch a brake.
hey its nice to put this channel for kids to wach
wow thats a load of work
+1800NoFault It's not for the faint of heart or the lazy person.
when ya'll do this makes me think how good honey is lol
Wow,That looked like fun.
It had it's moments. lol
AWESOME!!! I love your turbo smoker!!! You just gave me an idea now! Your channel was worth subbing to WOOOHOOO!!!
Oops, I forgot to mention that I just patented it. It's called the smokey rooster. You have to pay me a dollar if make one. LOL
Very funny very funny!!!
628DirtRooster :) you are the BEST
Hire a bear to distract the bees :D
That's what my brother is for. He's as hairy as one.
😂
Great video!
+Geo K Thanks bro

Ah, cool. :-) Great job guys.
My goodness! All of that bee extermination with only a head net??? I can't imagine how much that hurts...
Ha! No extermination here except for what was accidental. I doesn't hurt as bad as you might think.
I guess you get used to it after a while.
. @4:32 LOL....'The Jerk' reference. Nice one.
Great old movie
Wow! That was a lot of honey. Made my mouth water.
We get those loaded ones once in a while.
You need to carry a BBQ spatula with you. You know the ones that are a long rectangle.
Who Ya Gonna Call ? 682DirtRooster thats who :)))
Ha. We need an old ambulance to show up in.
Should have brought a pizza peel. Lol. Wow. What a hive
Wow that's a lot of honey oozing off them cones.
We probably left a gallon or two that we couldn't reach. Other hives robbed it out over the next couple of days.
smoke calms the bees down right ?
You could say that. It hinders their ability to communicate with each other by the use of pheromones. They can't sound the attack if they can't communicate.
ahhh so whens the super smoker coming back XD
micersicer Might have to start using it on a regular basis.
How does no one
Know that there’s a hive like that
in there home
I hope you guys put a patent on "The Reacher." Would make MILLIONS. lol
We could take it on Shark Tank.
I think it's weird that I search up bees then find you then find out we are from the same area
Ha, small world. Thanks for the sub.
The ending looked like it was heading a bit X rated, and he was peaking in windows! LoL
i love how you guys say honey
+AFucking Meme LOL check out Dfishman76. Friend of mine but it's funny to hear him say it.
Let's smoke them out hand me that blunt LMFAO XD OMG I HAVE DONE THAT B4

They have signs up these days saying this is a certified retirement community. I think the casinos put them up. :)
Home, sweet home!!!!!! yeah!!!
Just needs a wreath on the door.
This sure was a messy removal.
